That Dude
I wondered over to Rev Rad. Blasting "Say Goodbye" because thinking about the lyrics of "Graffitia" got me over to that one. Also, on drink #4 tonight. I think everyone on GDA should start drinking more during this era. Responsibly of course. But gallons.

21st_century_gloria
Wait, in I Was a Teenage Teenager, is the line "I am an alien visitor?" because to me it sounds a lot like "I am a medium visitor"

Now the fan favorite, "YOUNGBLOOD" is playing. What an emotional shift. At least FOAM transistions from emoting to goofy with a nice Sugar Youth in between. Fuck you, I'm from Greenville!

To the best of my knowledge, a "cholo" is a mexican dude who is associated with gangs/gang subculture. I've heard it used as an insult as well as a joke, but I'm not sure if there's anything offensive or sketchy about the term.
That Dude
With "Junkies on a High", Billie Joe's mom finally got a shout out! ( wonder how SHE feels about THAT song!!!!) His wife has a ton of songs made for her, probably some we'll never hear, think about that. But what about his kids? I'd like to hear a really sappy, sweet song to his sons. One that would really embarrass the crap out of them. 1 1

Damn, are those the real lyrics? Well, time to repeatedly bang my head against the wall. I'm an idiot. I've been hearing the wrong lyrics for years, singing them too, and you're the first person who's corrected me. It's the 1-800 Lie situation all over again (For some clarification for people who don't follow Panicland, it turned out that the infamous Magnum Opus line was actually "With a 1-800 line/ To the hell within my mind")
fatherotti
I love the album! I just picked it up! Favorite tracks are... Graffitia, Meet Me on the Roof and I was a Teenage Teenager. Graffitia and Junkies on a High are the sad ones..... 😥IMO haha 😁 But solid album. Really reminiscent of 50's garage rock. 😎

Okay, so Billie Joe's Mom has several songs about her, be it sung by Billie or Tre Cool. She needs a sweet one. And so do her grand kids. Man, I'm addicted to Green Day. I was about to go to bed at 9:44, but now after listening to FOAM and a ton of Rev Rad, I'm now on Shenanigans. YEAH OH YEAH OH YEAH OH OH YEAH i'm desensitized. That Dude
I'm also trying to find some decent (or easy is more like it) guitar chords to Meet me on the Roof. I like them G, D, A and C chords, know what I'm sayin? If I see a B chord I'm running. If I see an F, I play a C and keep on rocking in the free world, ya know? I feel like I'm really getting to KNOW you guys this era. No matter how you feel about the album, I feel like I've made some real friends on here. I wish I knew Green Day fans in real life. This is probably the most fun I've had on GDA out of all the era's we've been through. I joined during the Breakdown Era. Oh Man, I went through some things THAT year. Welp, going to see what new Green Day chords are to be found while rocking out to Shenanigans, which we all know should have been released as a studio album. 8 minutes ago, 21st_century_gloria said: Damn, are those the real lyrics?
