To the best of my knowledge, a "cholo" is a mexican dude who is associated with gangs/gang subculture. I've heard it used as an insult as well as a joke, but I'm not sure if there's anything offensive or sketchy about the term.

With "Junkies on a High", Billie Joe's mom finally got a shout out! ( wonder how SHE feels about THAT song!!!!)   

His wife has a ton of songs made for her, probably some we'll never hear, think about that.  

But what about his kids?  I'd like to hear a really sappy, sweet song to his sons.   One that would really embarrass the crap out of them.

Favorite tracks are... Graffitia, Meet Me on the Roof and I was a Teenage Teenager.

Graffitia and Junkies on a High are the sad ones..... 😥IMO haha 😁

But solid album. Really reminiscent of 50's garage rock.  😎

I'm also trying to find some decent (or easy is more like it) guitar chords to Meet me on the Roof.   

I like them G, D, A and C chords, know what I'm sayin?   

If I see a B chord I'm running.   If I see an F, I play a C and keep on rocking in the free world, ya know?   

 

I feel like I'm really getting to KNOW you guys this era.   No matter how you feel about the album, I feel like I've made some real friends on here.    I wish I knew Green Day fans in real life.   

This is probably the most fun I've had on GDA out of all the era's we've been through.   I joined during the Breakdown Era.   Oh Man, I went through some things THAT year.     

Welp, going to see what new Green Day chords are to be found while rocking out to Shenanigans, which we all know should have been released as a studio album.
