Money Money 2020 was the first song they played over the PA when the show ended.

And Roshambo is a fantastic song.

The serious songs and moments on the album are actually really decent. Spike, Roshambo, Money Money 2020 could have all been on C&V if they were stripped down with regular Green Day production. They would have fit in with Too Much Too Soon and Governator and some of the other tunes that they were working on at the time.

That keytar is just too rich though

I’ve always loved this album. I wish we could get more side projects from the band because it’s clear they’ve nailed new wave with this and 60’s rock with the hot tubs.

Can we get a metal album in the vein of ‘Take Back’ next?

Maybe 2023 will see the Return of the Network!

Oh how things changed.   I was actually able to get this kind-of -obscure album at a brick and mortar store when it came out.

And now we've got the Longshot, without a physical release to their name.

Hhmmmp.

Yeah it got a vinyl press, but since I wasn't really feeling the album I just wanted to get it on CD instead of spending more on vinyl.
