It wasn’t that small, about 2,000 capacity but yeah smaller than a stadium so nice to see.

Glad to see they're still playing BOBD with the (partial) backing track. Also, and this might just be entirely my subjective experience, but it appears to me that either Tre's drum tech upped his game a lot or his new kit just sounds a lot better, or both. Either way, his drums definitely sound better than they did on the RevRad tour!

This caught my attention too and got me thinking.

Was this the warm up set list?

Maybe they were hinting they'd been waiting a long time to get back on the road?

Misc slap? Some kinda play on Mishap? Misc ship?

Quarter DLY

Rover shed /sled?

Are these new songs, I can't imagine they would warm up with them and risk them being heard before release, but y'never know!

This really looks like a sick show, and if the short “post-dookie” setlist tells anything about the upcoming tour I’m tucking happy about it. I really hope more club shows will pop up in the near future.

Nope, right there with you.  On both points.

Wow seems like a great show! I can't wait to watch all of these clips later.

So they did songs from every album, EXCEPT:

NIMROD

AND THE TRILOGY.

Glad Insomniac got a song, but you're making Green Day's biggest fan upset when you skip the Nim.   Must have the NIM.   The NIM cannot be ignored.     Forget American Idiot sequels, give us NIMROD PART TWO.

DON'T IGNORE THE NIM.

Also, I'm glad they included "All by Myself".   didn't they skip it before when they played the 'entirety' of Dookie?

This show has me thinking about all their songs that don't get played live again.   Going to go cross reference my Green Day Powerpoint with setlist.fm again just to make sure it's all correct.   Make sure setlist.fm is correct, because I know my notes are correct

No GDA award for my obsessive compulsive fandom?    That's all good, because I didn't vote.  I don't know anyones username so it's all a mystery to me.

Yeah, sad that again it seems the trilogy won’t be making a return. Things could change but I was hoping the style would suit the new vibe and album so much that they would want to bring a song or two back. Looks more like they are still sticking to the hits.

Well if they don't play Dookie during the Hella Mega that mean there are like 9 songs they need to add to the setlist (if they play at least Burnout, Longview, Welcome To Paradise, Basket Case, She and When I Come Around)

The show was a blast!I It was short for Green Day's standards (1h 40 min) but they played non stop. Almost none "hey ohs" as it has to be. It was like a greatest hits show with some ext

If Hella Mega shows are gonna be like this (playing the songs without wasting time) then I'm all in. 27 songs in less than 2 hours, I like it.

Good:

 - Billie's voice was on fire

- The intensity of the show

Bad:

 - The sound was low (I think this is because of the venue's restrictions, as Volbeat three weeks ago was also low)

 - Only 1h 40 min

 - No Fire, Ready, Aim

 - The sea of mobile phones

I kept the good and bad that I like (all of them apart from the ones relatives to what they played, I don't really care) but I personally like the eh ho's. If they can play the same amount of songs in 1h40 or 2h40, wouldn't you want to see them rather 2h40? When seeing the Longshot (which shows must've lasted around 1h40) it seemed really short. Not to say it wasn't intense, or extraordinary, and Billie was on fire, voice and energy. But with 2h40 it's still the case and it's just better :P

about fire ready aim, I agree, it would be awesome to see that live. The sea of cell phones, tell us something we don't know. Even on here people are eager to watch filmed performances of every show; not to say it's not normal, but every result is made of facts. I'd rather have less cell phones and less videos (which never come close to a lived experience). I'd even say no cell phones and no videos. People behave like animals with these cell phones. Towards the other spectators around and towards the musicians.

Billie from his own admission loves the trilogy. I bet what they play isn't necessarily what they love the most, or love in the most particular way I'd rather say (they must appreciate all they have done, assuredly). Playing oldies is always well received especially in club shows. Not to say playing trilogy wouldn't be well received too. Maybe it's just what less people want to hear, and maybe it's just also more difficult to play that in a certain way for them. I'm not an expert or anything but perhaps between Nimrod and even older songs the older will always be like a more special thing to play for most of the fans, at least the ones attending these smaller shows. At least it seems to be what they conclude.

I'd willingly give you my awards gained this year for the most part for things I've tried to state without being allowed to, so it was a bit frustrating, these awards were representing something unachieved and, in the end, false. I would have as well slipped invisibly between the cracks like I do in real life :P but perhaps when you say you don't know anyone's username, you mean that you don't remember the username of someone you would've thought being fitting for an award, for one post you remember that marked you (in a good way preferably!) but you can't tell who wrote it. Sometimes people writing random and scarce stuff feel the most right and touching but also impossible to spot back lol. Good for them, said in passing.

@Beerjeezus you're so nice to like my random meaningless rambling :P.

They have got to stop giving only clubs this kind of setlist. The setlist already includes enough hits to play even at the largest stadiums, while also making those more loyal fans happy. What I would give to hear I Was There or even some of the songs on Dookie like Pulling Teeth or FOD. I hope their stadium/arena shows aren't as vanilla as they were last tour.
