No I don’t know anything about Prima Donna but still doesn’t change that they signed a contract to do a show and potentially cancelled it so Kevin can play third stringer is just asshole move imo (IF that is the reason why they cancelled the show of course since we don’t know the reason for it)

I'll tend to say: if everyone agrees, then there should be no problem. If Prima Donna agrees to postpone their own shows (if that is the reason as you say) to let Kevin do more shows with GD, they agree because it will also make them more publicity and Kevin will be happy this way. They agree with the fact that some people will think it's an asshole move, since it's telling about priorities between Kevin's own band (symbolically, and as for the worth he signifies to attach to the band in itself, whereas in a practical way PD could gain more attention thanks to that) and the fact to just stick more with GD. The money profit is not the first that comes in mind, knowing Kevin is simply a huge Billie fan. But the money profit could count for the other PD members. For either or both of the reasons, Kevin's choice is still understandable. But he's not the decider, the established GD members are, so they have agreed. If everyone has agreed with that and the predictable fallouts, there should be no problem.

I just wish GD themselves would be more open about how they make touring members circulate. Billie always gives them a highlight moment during every show. He shows the importance they have. Not saying anything, to the fans who could be more particularly fans of either of the touring members, notably Jeff who has been absent lately, not saying at least something like "Kevin is going to replace Jeff for the given time because blah blah blah" is just giving the impression that something is done on the sly, and that it doesn't leave everyone happy but is done rather on compromises. But hopefully it's just an impression, hopefully the fact of saying nothing is based on other motives, such as the needlessness to say it perhaps, and all the musicians involved are contented like that.

As for the shows, always the perennial debate about the setlist, who gives a shit! I'd love to see them either in a Spanish venue or at the EMA's . Hope everybody going there have huge fun!

Why would they play dookie in full? Because it’s 25 years old? They already did this for the 20th anniversary.

Is that the point we are at now? Every 5 years we are going to hear speculation that Green Day will play Dookie in full?

I have no idea if Jeff is coming back but there doesn’t seem to be hard feelings.

Jeff has liked many of Kevin’s post on Instagram about playing with Green Day.

My guess is Jeff comes back for the tour.  He has not removed Green Day from his twitter and Instagram bio. And it really doesn’t make sense to fly him out to California every time for these one off shows

All we get is a burp 😕

if the choice is between a burp and a dookie it might be time to consider other bands

I guess it’s comforting to know they haven’t grown up 🤷‍♀️

I guess that's the best way to look at it

I suppose GD has never played Dookie in full in Spain before (only in the UK and Serbia) and so probably Spanish fans are quite excited about it.

I don't mind what they play in Madrid or Seville because those setlists will not represent what will be on the tour next year. I just want to see loads of footage of them that sounds great from these two gigs.

I would prefer they played Nimrod, or Insomniac (mainly because it would be more rare, since I have already watched them play half of Dookie live in past shows), but I will not complain , it's certainly something special, and having it happening in such an intimate place will be something to remember for sure.

So doors for this show are in about 55 minutes! I think Spain are still an hour in front of us in the UK
