I’m listening to the interview online (you need to be logged in with a subscription) It’s 41 minutes total including the songs. Anyway, Billie says he did a joint interview recently with Billie Eilish. I wonder what that was for and when it might be out.

Do you need the premium sub to listen? I have the “essentials” trial currently

I find his obsession with her weird. They represent completely different paths into stardom.

I don’t know. You can try to sign in and see if it works. We have a premium sub that includes Howard.

They do a full band version of WMUWSE that sounds awesome.  I hope they bring it back to the tour.

Howard said hello to everyone in the band and named Kevin but damn I wish he would have asked him if he was a permanent member now.

I’m gonna have to call to change my sub to premium (they have a promo going on for it now).

@Todd the audio interview is up if you have premium

What an amazing mix once again! The guys on Stern clearly always know their stuff.

Also, I feel like Tre's drums are definitely sounding better this tour cycle. They kinda sucked on the RevRad tour.

I'm not sure if anyone asked this question in this thread, but is he using a filter / pedal on his mic? His vocals match the album so closely, it sounds like an audio enhancement.

Anyone with audio effects knowledge have any ideas?

I would assume that their sound engineer controls that from his booth.

He’s singing along with a backtrack

It is Jason Freese singing along with him

i think its a combination of all the things listed, backing track, vocal run through an effects pedal, and backup vox... but yeah, its pretty close.

I think it's a filter mixed with Freese's vocals. Not sure if there's a backing track at all, I think Jason Freese sings the entire song barring the "there's a riot living inside of us" part.

I'm gonna make a full guess, but I think that BJ voice is on two tracks, one goes normal but the other one goes to Jason's keyboard and get mixed with some fx that is loaded in the keyboard.

I think that because using a backing track demands metronome and they don't use that.

Jason Freese is singing with Billie during FOA... You can clearly see his mouth moving in multiple shots of all of the performances they’ve done for tv of that song.

If by mafia you mean the “Uh huh come on honey, uh huh count your money...” part sounds like the record execs talking back and telling him to just relax, lie back and enjoy it then yeah.

And the blood and money part. Makes me think of the Sopranos

Billie looked a bit awkward during the performance lol like he wanted to run around and such but couldn't due to the small space

I think this is my fav performance of the song so far

Oh, for the love of God, please don’t let this he about a collab. If they’re doing a Billie Eilish collab, the last tiny spark of hope I have left for this era will say sayonara.
