And to those of you complaining that this song has no meaning, you’re not looking at the whole picture. The song is literally meant to be meaningless; Billie himself confirms it in the caption “This song is about daily outrage. Attack without thought. Hyperbole. Anyway, stick a hammer in your mouth. Shut up and dance!”; attack without thought. It’s emulating that. That’s why it’s called Fire, Ready aim and not Ready, Aim, Fire.

That's kind of lazy though. "It's has no meaning, so it's deep. You can't control me mom."

I find it funny that we’re repeating the negativity from Father of All...

I bet when a live version surfaces, some people are gonna say it’s a rockin’ tune.

Well with a live version, the vocals will likely be better but nothing else about the song will improve. The instruments will largely be played the same way, the lyrics will be the same etc

Maybe Billie's going mad and writing random shit.

Or maybe the "trolls" has to do with the "daily outrage" and "attack without thought" which is also mentioned in the description. Internet trolls attack people on the internet without thinking

At this point, I feel like you have to be a crazy conspiracy theorist to NOT believe that this is a troll album. Honestly, what more do you need?

I've always hated Revolution Radio with a passion so this new song is definitely better than any songs on that album in my opinion. It's okay, you can still love Revolution Radio if you want to.

Nah I’m still confused sorry 😂😂

If Billie sings normal the track would be killer. His voice has so much power and chipmunking it makes him sound like a Green Day cover artist.

What more do I need? Evidence?

People feel disappointed and then decide to believe in this secret album theory because they don't want to accept the fact that GD are making an album they know they're not going to like much

I can lead a horse to water but I can’t make it drink 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s not what it means. This album goes beyond expressing feelings and notions through lyrics alone, it’s an entire EXPERIENCE. You can’t single out the guitar, or the vocals; you have to listen to each song as a whole in order to get the EXPERIENCE and true message it is putting forth.

Get it? It's the opposite of the expression adults use and therefore edgy and deep. I don't follow your adult rules, mom. Thanks for polluting our planet!

What drugs do you take? I'm looking for some new experiences too.

Thank you very much. I’ve been saying this all along, it’s just denial so they cook up theories with any crumb of a clue that something else is along the way. I believe something else is there, but in a year or two, not the 5 or 6 year gap we’ve been accustomed to.

I think it’s fairly obvious, it’s what Billie has been saying in their description and in the interviews, justifying the creative direction they took. So, research and an ambiguity fetish I suppose 😜

Looking at the lyrics it sounds like it was literally wrote to be a hockey theme.

I was getting that vibe from 'em too🤔

Nothing Billie's said in the descriptions even makes sense and it comes across as cringey. I honestly think you're reaching here

well the preview is like the best of the song and is short.

maybe we need an album of 10 songs of 15 seconds each lol

i like the t2 tracks so far. the sound is fresh bah a mix of alot of things but not generic. and much better than the trilogy and revrad. this is the party the epicness come next year.

So what's the message of this song?

Some people are gonna love this new era and some are going to hate it(probably me included) but I doubt it’ll go down as one remembered much. It’ll be over by the end of the tour and I’m guessing that they won’t be sticking with this sound for the next era/album.
