LaughingClock
Without reading one word of this thread, this is the best video Green Day has laid out since Dookie era. It’s literally changed my view of the song. The guys look amazing. The visuals are second to none and the breakdancing with fucking Turbo in it? In case you didn’t know who Turbo is who makes no less than 3 appearances for I don’t know what reason? This is the guy who taught MJ the moonwalk btw. DookieLukie
Probably just coincidence, but I think it's cool that he's using the same guitar from the AI music video and even does some of the same strumming dances from that video (1:27 on AI and 1:37 on FOAM for an example). Im.a.basket.case
Just watched on a big screen....love the video, this song. I fucking love Green Day and hearing some dirty rock n roll.

I think it captures the carefree, rock n roll vibe the song is going for. I actually liked the random dancing clips. I thought they were cute and gets you in the let's have a good time mood! Though there should've been more cuts to Green day... Otherwise very enjoyable. Not their best video but still fun and miles better than Oh Love. I watched some trilogy videos last night and I thought Oh Love was really good the trilogy is weird cause it’s so vast there’s atleast something for everyone in there
green day is
Absolutely nothing remarkable about this video whatsoever. A collage that a child could have done with After Effects in an afternoon (that breaks theme randomly), with soundstage footage interspersed..... could it even get more basic? 1/10 I know they're better than this. Slave To The Network
Well, I'm disappointed. I miss when the music videos were just the GD boys and not a bunch of random people.
Little Boy Named Submarine
Its an ok video, the kind of video you watch one time and then totally forget about it.
DookieLukie
Interesting how the video has roughly a 5x better like to dislike ratio than the audio video we've had since release (15:1 on audio video, 50:1 on music video).
HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN
I woke up to a badass music video It’s cool and fun to watch, I love the choreography in the background even more now, the people dancing and going crazy fits the vibe perfectly, and the overall video does a great job supporting lyrics and music, which is what a music video should do. I still love conceptual videos and hope that we will also get something more complex from a narrative perspective later on, but this was perfect for FOAMF. realDonaldTrump
on god, the music video was the most aesthetically pleasing thing since american idiot, holiday, and JOS (even though they kinda went overboard by making it seem more goth than punk in that) they need sam bayer back though, maybe i’m a stickler but he shoots using film and is just a genius at making music videos. it’s always soo damn good looking. Hermione
Video is AWESOME Perfectly fits the song, love the energy and the band's fabulous look. Also these ranting descriptions from Billie are so the Rev on Foxboro Hot Tubs Myspace 2008! Long live rock n roll Green Day
JellyTime
There's a shot from Polish pride. It fits perfectly to Billie's words about dancing, joy and straight up violence - in Poland pride marches are always attacked by far-right people. I love this band even more now

jengd
Woke to a great new music video! I love it, the song has really grown on me since about second listen and is in my head all the time just now and I think this is a great fit. I was expecting the Madonna Inn “big production” that make-up artist spoke about but can only assume it’s the next one so I guess the whole vibe is let lose, have fun and kitschy and so far they’re nailing it. I think this GD’s best dance song, was not a fan of Kill The DJ, but this had my whole family dancing last night. As ever, would have liked to see more of the band, especially when they are looking so good but they never give us that, but loved so many of the cutaway bits, very excited for whatever is next and loving the vibe 👏👏👏 someone mentioned the gorilla but project chimp is only chimps, cool gorilla though
heart on a noose
Wow, I am loving the new video! Made me like the song even more. I think it is very creative and really capturing the vibe of a song. 🙃

GuitarPunk94
the musicvideo is good, but nothing more imo, i expected sth better honestly (but we all know they most likely shot another music video at the madonna inn, obviously for MOOTIK.....joking) i think a second single will be released before the actual foam album gets released, and thats when we will see the madonna inn video (maybe) but i really hope this whole new foam-era wont be sth like FBHT 2.0, they kinda already did this with DOS, and it was okay since they released 3 lps at this time, i want new GD and not new GD as FBHT

Chin for a Day
That was boring as shit. Did anyone else get an email that said: "We wanted to make something about dancing. Anxiety. Tribalism. Joy.. and straight up violence" Seems kind of odd considering the state of the gun violence in the US today.
chrism17
This is the worst Green Day timeline.

I think it’s obvious that they’re talking about a different kind of violence, the kind of violence you find in a mosh pit. Unless you think a mosh pit and gun violence have any kind of connection, I don’t see any reason to relate this video to it.
