Come on, one of the things I love about them is that what you hear on vinyl/CD is the same thing you get live.

Actually I think they always sound even better live than on vinyl/CD. After every tour circle, when I'm listening to the studio version of a song they played, I always think "this sounds so lame"😄 They put so much energy in the live versions of their songs, it's really one of a kind.

Really glad to see this performance making everybody like the song!

For the falsetto part; I‘m pretty sure they are using a quite backing track hence Billie harmonising with himself in the first verse. You can hear the backing Track at the end with the last ‚oh yeha‘ – notice how quite it is in comparsion to his singing. But that‘s the only part Billie‘s ‚lip-syncing‘. Totally fine & smart solution imo. I think they even cut the track off for the last line before the chorus, so it‘s only him in that part.

Besides that – they are truly on fire. I would even say they are peaking right now regarding their ‚skill‘. Tré managed to get even better and is beating his kit up. Mike is back with his busy Insomniac bass lines and Billie‘s singing is better than ever.

Yep, after seeing a video from the whiskey the other night and now this, he’s definitely singing with a backing track during the verses. Which is totally fine because that means we can actually hear him.

I still think that backing track everybody's talking about is actually Jason Freese

Man, man, man, that bassline is making me crazy, so much love.

And I hope the music video will have something in common with that “video” going on behind them, pretty cool as well. I love the overall style of this era so far, including the guys clothing, extreme in some sense but somehow to me it if feels more authentic than other stuff they used to wear in the past. L-O-V-E.

Me too. I saw him moving his lips the whole time during the whiskey performance. Even in the chorus? And it also sounds like him.

I'm a big Prima Donna fan and seeing Kevin up there with my favorite band is as glorious as sauteed bratwurst.

I think it's Jason Freese on the backing vocals...

In this video we see cleary Freese doing it

Yeah it looks like it, that makes the performance even more cool!

I'm curious about the video behind them. Could it be from the music video of the song?

I really hope so, it’s super cool!

This song somehow gives me a Tarantino vibe, and I love it :D

I love the growl he puts into the last “We are rivals....” it reminds me of “in the new york city paaaarrrrrrk!!”  Such a vibe 🔥

I like the song better live I thought they did an amazing job last night. I liked Billie coming out just to sing as he hasn't really done that for a while.

When they played the Whiskey the other night was there any hey-ohs and all the repetitive stuff they've been doing for years?

I think its possible that they may change some aspects of the live show and the way they perform which is exciting.

I think there’s confusion here about singing falsetto which is what Billie is doing and Castrati which is when we used to castrate boys to keep their pre-pubescent voices, think young choir boys voices.  They have a different quality to the sound falsetto does not have.

I guess what they're doing instead of fx is Jason helping out with the vocals? Or is it a backing track?

Freese is singing along with Billie and nails the fuck out of it. This is one of the reasons he is my favorite backup vocalist in the band. His range is pretty insane and he can morph his tone really well.

I also believe they are using a bit of a filter on Billie's mic as well...some type of dirty reverb that adds a bit of an echo/doubling effect.

Yea it's totally freese singing the backup in the vocals and he is fucking killing it.
