That Dude
Album 14! Oh man. As usual, there are no usual albums for The Green Day Band. Father of All is an experiment in sound and Album 14 will be more experimentation. How far can they stray from their signature sound and still sound great? I'd say there is no limit. Foo Fighters Concrete and Gold comes to mind. A popular pop rock band expanded their sound and evolved into something greater than themselves. And that's what Green Day are about to do. We have trouble imagining what we dont know but the best. Is yet. To. Coome. Father of All is short and sour. Magnus Opus will be long and sweet. A long ride that you go on after climbing into a burning chariot with Billie at the wheel and Mike and Tre punching you in the crotch as the horse goes at breakneck speed. But in a good way. Some of the songs cut from Father will appear to break the high stakes sound of Opus. High Stakes Music! Opus will probably have between 15-19 songs. It will contain no cursing at all. There will be a golden lyric booklett. A Green Day laso and piece of birthday cake that comes with the album. Also a free bag of Green Day coffee.
