If it were truly a hoax, it would be just a generic punk sounding song with a bad impression of Billie. But that’s not the case!!! Or is it just the final cuts on the album that they claim rights to? I actually had a chat with Butch Vig about it. I know exactly what was done to achieve the sound. The mix has nothing to do with the way something was recorded. The way it was recorded is what makes it unique not the mix in this case.
