But that filter is getting more spread at every record, this is so bad

Vocals are losing all the lows they need to give the song some depth

Honestly a demo of this song would probably be far better than this. I never really had a problem with the vocals on the trilogy or RevRad. The Longshot's vocals were a bit odd to me but also fine but this song is really offputting with the weird vocals

Did anyone during interviews ask them why they used artwork on the AI album? Because I still don't see any links on why they do that. Just why draw a unicorn on the AI cover. Why??

Longshot's album was a bit too dark in the mix to keep those harsh vocals inside but in FOAM's verse the effect is really too much, I thought it was a feat at the beginning. Couldn't tell Billie and this is so bad

Seems like they got to do what they wanted anyways) but isn’t that still a fuck you to the fans in a little way? Like we waited 4 years for an album and it’s 26 mins with the shittiest artwork

Yeah what if the cover we saw for MOOTIK is real, and the audio of the song in the snippets and the choirs is real, and it's an epic rock opera but they plan on releasing it independently after FOAMF and the world tour lol

Not if the songs still kick ass like FOAM and we actually do get something else right after this album.

Pretty excited about everything but if 10 years ago someone had showed me the album cover and told me it was the artwork for Green Day's 13th album in 2020.

i just listened to the new single...i got no time to read through the massive wall of new forum posts...

i really like the sound of the new song, it has some DOS-/FBHT-ish sound....but what happened to billies voice, holy moly?! they cant be serious? thats a joke am i right?

i saw some comments about billie being interviewed and saying GD will release new music in 2020 because they will leave warner?

and what about this magnum opus/troll Warner-theory? (the album being exactly 26min long and so on ... ?)

well, that maybe true. however, that would be an exception to the rule. i could put out a single and call it a box set, that doesnt make it necessarily true. im only speaking in reference to industry definitions.

Anyone else concerned that Billie seemed to be not that much into touring in the KROQ interview? He said they're going to cut down on it. Seems contrary to their love of touring and his recent side gigs.
