Charlie Sheen also went off on Warner as well in several interviews. Specifically after going after Chuck Lorre in the public.

Warner Bros owns Reprise Records so while they may claim they run as separate entities they are still the same parent company

Warner Bros hasn’t owned Warner Music in fucking YEARS

I don't think btw saying "we'll release new music (that's clearly not from this album)" is to be considered a great move for the record as well

Theyre just fucking with Warner big time.

To qualify as an album it must be over 25 mins.

True, but my point is still there are great albums that are 25 minutes. So for me, the length doesn't bother me. I get why others may not be happy with it. My biggest problem is Hella Mega Tour.

Has any band ever released an album with artwork from a previous one?

David Bowie’s album The Next Day is literally his artwork from “Heroes” but with a white box over part of it with The Next Day written across it. It’s happened before.

I don’t think they’re “just” fucking with Warner, I think they are releasing the music they want to release and play at this time, with this record. Whatever the hell Warner or anyone else thinks about it :) And if this is not punk rock as fuck tell me what it is :P

So did they split when they became Warner communications that eventually merged with Time?

I think by "We'll release new music", they just mean they'll have another single or two from FOAMF or whatever

Billie said before the tour starts. Clearly there’s gonna be more singles before that, there’s gonna be an album release before that :D He meant something more.

This is literally the only album that comes to mind when thinking of any other groups/artists that have done this type of thing

Clearly it'll be like every other band recently and release 5 singles so we get exactly 4 minutes of new content when the album actually drops :P

It's not the length, I think, more their attitude, I don't find them enthusiastic as they used to be for the previous releases; in the interview they sound like joking about the record and the tour. The song also sounds like an over-pumped demo, not like a big comeback after 3 years. Re-used lyrics and melody (starting a song again with I woke up to) and the way Billie sounds is like he's parodying himself.

The whole seems like a parody, thinking also about the message down the video.

Warner is a major label.....so your point dissolves before it even takes off.

Warner Music became independent in 2005 and then was bought by Access Industries in 2011

Warner Bros has been out of the music business since 2004/2005

only thing that they share now is just name only

in regard to releasing more before the album and tour, im curious if hes alluding to the remaining 7 songs from these sessions, or something else entirely? and will those be under warner or will they be the first post-warner, indie release(s) we see from them..???

also, im already hyped for warner to start milking what back catalog content they have archived. gimme b-sides!
