AmyxLongview
First impressions: Only listened once but definitely like RevRad more. But I appreciate that they tried something new. The "doo-woppy" sounding sounds can get a little irritating for me, i.e. Meet Me on the Roof and Stab You in the Heart. They're a little too retro for my liking. My initial favorite is definitely Graffitia, as well as Take the Money and Crawl.
That Dude
I have another idea for a music video! It's for Stab You in the Heart and Sugar Youth combined. Solid Pink Room. Solid pink platforms (like the guys stood atop in Wake Me Up When September Ends). Pink suits. Pink guitars and drums. Pink hair. The guys even have a bit of pink paint on their skin, but not all over. As they play the songs, a fire starts underneath their platforms. The whole place starts to turn black. Eventually all the pink is gone and flames die out. A crowd starts to come in and it's a party!

Redundantuserjinxboy
The metacritic score is probably going to end up being lower than the trilogy albums

The trilogy don't deserve to be the worst Green Day albums. There are some really good songs on there. I'd say about one album's worth

Note: This is me agreeing that the trilogy gets shit on way more than it deserves by the way. Not that FOAM is somehow worse than the trilogy. Felt like I should clarify that. 😅 Edited February 7, 2020 by Yojimbo
Little Boy Named Booze
I'm so happy to like this album! I like RevRad a lot too! It's just two different style. That Dude
Not sure if it's a grammatical error, or simply a lyric that doesn't make sense. In "Junkies on a High", the line "My path don't follow" irritates me. If there is supposed to be a comma between "path" and "don't", it makes sense. But the way it's written and even sung, I don't know what he means here. His path don't follow? What doesn't his path follow? Paths follow? His path is NOT following something else? I dunno. Love the song, but it's lyrics are kind of tricky to FOLLOW..... Anyone have an in depth analysis of the words? Billie's smashing fingers in doors, giving goofy subdivision smiles to his neighbors and hanging out with the Kool Aid guy during the apocalypse. killjoywhatsername
I can’t for this album to drop on Spotify for me so I can hear it in better quality. My bundle said it’s coming Monday.

Popular Post Spike
I've seen some strange criticism of Green Day over the years, admittedly a good chunk of it from me, but "they used a fade out so they sound like ABBA" might be my new favourite. 1

Not exactly a direct reference, I meant the intro/verses tbh, the fade out is completely different and it’s not like they haven’t used one before? But you go ahead and take it out of context my man 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Joe K
Gotta admit, I'm really surprised how most of GDC really seems to enjoy Graffitia. Not my cup of tea like at all... But honestly otherwise there are some good songs here! Hope they'll play Sugar Youth on the tour
