Seanz25
New leak allows for a much better listen, it's slightly improved things. Think much like Rev Rad/Trio it's another album with some interesting ideas, but unfortunately for me largely poor execution. I think there's one or two stand out songs - Meet me on the roof, Take the money and Stab you in the heart. For me though you place them in other albums pre 21CB and I probably wouldn't care for them all that much which speaks volumes. One review made the claim that FOAM is very much like a poor version of newer QOTSA records. I'd probably agree.
Guest
We're now two days away from release, and I haven't received my shipping notification. I wouldn't be so annoyed, if it was a late purchase, but I ordered the explicit cover vinyl as soon as the shop went live. What's taking so long? 😡 It's honestly just stressing me out, because I've ordered limited edition things from other shops online, and they fucked around and then didn't have anymore of the product I paid for, when I finally contacted them. That Dude
I've been trying to Shazam the songs and today it worked. You can now identify the tracks with shazam.
Popular Post Albelint
Honestly for me it's difficult to take albums or songs reviews seriously. Music (not live performances) is something you can't be objective about, it's only a matter of taste. Albums are recorded to sound perfect, there are not mistakes in it. In movies or tv shows for example there are some objective parameters that you can use to make a point, like how good is the cinematography, the acting. the direction, the script. All things that makes for a good or a bad movie/show. In music what are you going to use? The number of chords in each song? How difficult they're to play? The number of instruments? The rhythm? The lyrics maybe? When someone is described or describe himself as a music expert or a music reviewer i laugh at them.

I guess because it’s on a google drive and so many people have listened or downloaded it puts a limit on listens and downloads. HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN
Have you noticed all these lazy newspapers picking up the AP review instead of writing their own? Fortunately it is a really positive one 😂 1
Popular Post TJChrobo
Okay... another hot take to add to the pile. I think this album isn’t Green Day (okay, of course it’s Green Day but let me explain). I think this album is Billie, Mike, and Tre. I am not the first to say it, but this album sounds like a mash up of Green Day, The Foxboro Hot Tubs, and The Network. Which are like different personalities of the same band. But that is my point, they have chosen to not be in the musical corner that each of those three bands are in. This is album is a fusion. It is Billie, Mike, and Tre making the music they like without fear. Does it sound exactly like the Green Day we are used to? No. Does it sound exactly like the FBHT? No. Does it sound exactly like The Network? Again, no. Does it sound like all three? Yes. I love the freedom they have allowed themselves to have. Yes it will polarize fans, but it’s three guys making music they love. Isn’t that what music should be about anyway? Also, it feels like the Jasons got a fair amount of influence in and moments to be heard and shine on this album. Which is cool because they are also part of various side bands. Rant over.

Maddie86
So I did get my shipping notice yesterday, but when I click on the tracking info it just says that the shipping label was created, it didn't get sent out yet so I have no delivery date yet. Depending on where these are shipping from there's still a chance I'll get it Friday if it ships out today, but with revrad my lp got to me a day after the release date. I also ordered the coffee but I haven't gotten a shipping notice for that yet. I think I'm alright with the vinyl getting here late, as long as I'm home to bring it right in so it doesn't sit outside all day, at least I'll still have the download on release day
