You're wrong, sorry. In FRA Billie tops out at a high B multiple times...the highest full voiced note that he has put in a Green Day song to date. He was on pitch every single one of them. He had to press verse two a bit more forward in his voice, but that it.

I just watched the performance. 

So far, I have hated everything about FOAMF (well except the unicorn. How can you hate a unicorn). I don't like any of the songs, the name, etc. But..... I thought the performance at the all star game was great. 

I still don't like any of the songs on FOAMF but at least the performance reminded me why I love this band.

Am I the only one that after all these months of waiting hope to not have a leak at all? 😄 My impossible dream is to not have a leak and receive my vinyl the 7th at 00.01

No.  It's coming out in 12 days; I don't seen the reason people need to hear it 5 days, 7 days, etc early.

That being said, if it does leak (a quality version), I'll listen solely so I don't have to avoid the internet until the 7th.

I hope there won't be a leak either, but if there will be one, I won't listen, even if it's going to be hard. I managed it with RevRad, so I will manage it this time too The day the leak drops I'll say sayonara to GDC until the official release so I won't get spoiled and can make up my own mind.

I don't care. I'd listen to a leak, but I don't mind waiting at all. I expect this album to be a one bite for me anyway, so at least it won't be over so soon if we have to wait longer.

when revrad got leaked i was like "ok, i cant wait anylonger" (plus at the time of the official release i was on holidays with 0 internet connection), so i just listened to the leaked revrad album while being high, can recommend dis 😀

yeah bands use backing tracks, but not good bands. bands like bring me the horizon use backing tracks.

the intro to BOBD and 21 guns doesn’t count. having vocal backing tracks is insanely fucking wack though

I have to say that even though this thing Billie is doing where he only sings without playing guitar feels a little weird, but it seems like he's making an effort with the vocals this time around and he's sounded great recently. Would be funny if the improvement is thanks to back tracks lol

To be honest I thought this was one of the weaker performances. They have been playing slower now though for about 3 years. Really noticeable on the Rev Rad tour especially the show I was at where they were later confirmed to be sick. 

The backing track issue is something I noticed in FRA as well. There's an acceptable way to do backing tracks (Rush is a perfect example of some good backing track situations, although they've hit this issue before. I witnessed a back track issue live on R40 tour). FRA wasn't too good with the backing tracks but they aren't utilizing the band to it's full amount. 

Billie Joe has been tracking the backing tracks on his own since trilogy era. Really bad strategy. Utilize the band. Utilize the actual band you tour live with as well.
