I'd be willing to listen to Mike give it a go 😂

I don't know... is there any whiter-sounding genre than pop punk?

I just don't want a rap because I want my precious 26 mins of GD to be as much of them as possible.

I'll join the list of people saying that they hope it's just a cameo in the video, but if it does happen, it doesn't mean it'll be bad. Rap in a blink song worked out well.

I love this song

I don't know if I'd mind rap. There can be rap in a song and it can be great and it can also suck or a song with no rap can be bad, so there's no way to judge based on the fact that a rapper might be featured on the song. That said, after hearing the first two songs, it's reasonable to keep realistic expectations. If it doesn't make me want to break my eardrums with a screwdriver it's a success.

It's a good song! But I think Blink's advantage is Travis Barker who loves hip hop, has worked with lots of rappers, and is very much involved with the culture.

Oh yeah Travis is 100% the reason why it’s so compatible. Hell, he’s even producing a pop punk album for machine gun Kelly. Rap and rock are gonna cross over a lot this year.

**commences with a few close-up shots of Tre with his arms crossed, glaring into the camera, wearing chains with huge dollar sign pendants, BJ and Mike behind him wearing full suits and sunglasses and carrying walkie talkies, like bodyguards, on either side of him**

I was just about to say Big Tre Swag and his debut album No Man Can Eat 50 Eggs featuring the hit single Who the Fuck is Big Tre Swag

I think they would've mentioned about featured rap artist in the Q Magazine's album review. There's nothing about that.

Q can only print what Warner/Reprise allows them to print. They can't reveal spoilers that the label doesn't want out there.

As I said, if Warner/Reprise doesn't want that info released, a magazine doing a review is not allowed to print that into. Come on people...

That's what I was thinking as well. Not to mention his involvement with The Transplants which are full albums of crossover between the two genres with Tim Armstrong who has used elements of hip hop in his vocals since the 80's

hahaha language barrier. There was no barrier for them using the word!

it doesn't come off as racist if you're not a racist. There's nothing wrong with mentioning someone's race in a respectful manner. I live in Canada where almost everyone in public is of a different background/descent/birthplace or whatever you wanna call it. Race exists and we should embrace all the different cultures and to pretend they don't exist is to somewhat force assimilation on those people with different backgrounds. However, while race exists, hatred towards someone for being a part of a race shouldn't exist.

I was going respond to this with an explanation, but I keep going back to Ok, Boomer. This phrase is making more and more sense to me. I like you @Sheenius but this is the race version of mansplaining.

Maybe PM me cause I think you've misunderstood my intended thought/communication here. My mother is an immigrant so I'm explaining from the side that's received the racism.

My point being that I have no problem with having my background be a part of my identity and if I can't allow that to be a part of me that is also racist.

I also do not mean to seem condescending in my use of the word misunderstood. I understand this is a sensitive topic for everyone here clearly and you may interpret something based on anecdotal evidence or have another perspective. I just want to point out that my perspective is from the point of a victim. I'm part of a background that received heavy racism here in Canada that still to this day is swept under the rug and omitted from curriculums across the country.

I also may live in a different country than you so the difference in landscapes can create confusion. It's something I talk about in high detail and would enjoy discussing further but it may be off topic so just PM.
