Popular Post Redundantuserjinxboy
Oh yeah- I think this song from what I've gathered is thematically going to be like bang bang. Everyone in this day in age wants to be a star and will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame. Meet Me on The Roof- Just judging by the title I'm not sure if it has any political themes or anything. Probably just about meeting friends on a roof and living it up. I was a Teenage Teenager- About growing up as a typical- nothing special about me- teenager according to Billie. That sounds cool. We Losers need to be represented more. Junkies On a High- Like MMOTR I don't think this one is going to have any political themes. Just a story about junkies on a drug bender. Sounds fun. Stab You in The Heart- According to interviews, this one is a Beatleish love song. Probably with an edgy twist seeing the theme of the album and the name of the song. Its probably literally about stabbing someone in the heart. Sugar Youth- The 2nd shortest after FRA. I hope this is the fast, in your face, punk song of the record- like take back. I predict this song will be about living it up while your young. Fits the theme of the album. Take The Money and Crawl- Just judging from the title I think this one will touch on how people do anything for money and some will sell themselves and their souls if they can make a buck doing it. Graffitia- Touch upon how many people are or where getting laid off in the midwest US and those once nice towns are now becoming/have become trashy, graffiti ridden, messes. This is what I've gathered from the interview where they talk about it at least. 7

It was painful to not include him. Let's say that after they do a few shows as a trio, they realize he has always been an official member and they correct it. From then on, Jason White is writing songs, singing lead on one per album and kicking butt. Mike Dirnt and Tre have backing vocals covered. I absolutely love the Big Three (in all of it's incarnations) and anyone who performs with them. They are all there for a reason. I would be okay with Green Day becoming an actual six piece and even some Freeze-Fronted stuff (imagine!) But for this new, down and dirty thing they are going for, three guy rocking out (sans face mic, eww) would be epic. No running around. No heyy oohs. They shred through 37 hits, 3 more obscure tracks and walk off stage. No encore. Just GREEN DAY. Three shows like that so it wouldn't get old. Now I think I will go watch some footage of old Green Day shows. The Three Daddys TRUMP Father of all MotherF(woo)ers Tour 2

They are some of the best tunes EVER and they would fit the only era nicely. FOAM - - The era so dangerous, I got my first warning talking about something I had no idea was political! Woo-hoo! Any bonus tracks would be nice this time around. Haven't been getting any since the Breakdown Days. FOAM
