Oh Yeah

Oh Love

Oh Girl

Oh So Many Years (from Foreverly)

I said Heeeey Oooh.

Also, the first thing that pops into my mind when I think "oh yeah" is "You Really Got Me".

sorry i brought up politics. i’m a hypocrite too and i’m not perfect. i just don’t have the power to bring change like them on a level that’s more than personal. i don’t hate anyone for being liberal either, atleast not the common man/woman. Sorry if i seem insulting.

but i still want to slap a big fat infowars sticker on cole becker’s guitar.

edit: i didn’t bring up politics but i fueled the fire

Just hope his vocals are normal again.

Massive turn off when I heard FOA. I had to double check to make sure I was listening to Green Day. I honestly have don’t have a lot of excitement for the album for the reason of him not sounding like himself and the blatant Butch Walker pussy rock and roll sound mixed with Green Day’s signature sound.

Same with me! I actually envisioned the song sounding just like You Really Got Me,  but with a modern Green Day twist.. and that would be awesome!

It would definitely coincide with the vibe of the first two tracks!

If this is Billie who’s singing idk why you’re saying he does not sound like himself. I understand you don’t like this era but Green Day are just evolving (in a bad or good way it depends of everyone). American Idiot and 21st century Breakdown are far behind us, this time has ended, now it's time to moving forward.

bla bla bla

evolving, moving on etc., yeah... 😒

He obviously doesn't sound like himself. His vocal is strangely modified and that's it.

That track list is questionable to say the least, not optimistic

Yeah, as the old saying goes..... judge a book by its cover.

I guess we're saying "he doesn't sound like him" because we aren't used to this kind of vocal range
Father of all isn't the only "different" Green Day song. Let's think about The Forgotten for example. Even if it's a ballad, Billie's voice is still immediately recognizable
Btw, I agree with you. It's totally fine moving forward and it's totally fine saying "I like this/I don't like that"

I think he sound like himself only live 😥 I also had this "strangely modified" feeling.
I liked the New Years live version tho

I think they’re just trying to do music without pressure and just have fun, this is not a bad thing imo.

Good for them we don't really mind how they do their business and how they enjoy being in a band together, we're judging the music that comes out of it. Nobody here wants the guys to be miserable.

A song that sounds like the Kinks, Joan Jett and Green Day had a really fun night tonight together.   Wow, that could be loud!

Well, this new single is going to be really hard to google.   Thanks, Green Day!

Honestly I'd be more interested in Billie writing a song about what it's like to be a rich-ass motherfucker chilling on the beach with his ratter dog. He seems to draw inspiration from the past which isn't bad per se, but he's been doing it for quite a while now.

It’s just gonna be 2:51 of the “yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah” part from the Joan Jett song never going anywhere just repeating.

You’re all wrong since we know (See Kerrang interview) that there will be the lyrics “Everybody is a star” in the chorus :P

Ah but "Everybody is a star" is a line from Bulletproof Backpack... now that BB's title has been changed to "Oh Yeah!" well, we don't know what else has also been changed in addition :P
