emenius
If âOh Yeahâ samples Joan Jettâs âDo You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)â, do you think thereâll be an issue with Gary Glitter, one of the tracks original songwriters, receiving royalties given that heâs a convicted paedophile? There was already controversy because of this when the song was used in Glee, and an advert for Hewlett-Packard was pulled because it was discovered that he was receiving royalties for use of the song.

That Dude
I hope the album is ALMOST 27 minutes long.  26 minutes, 59 seconds.  Also, a dvd of Billie playing an acoustic cover of "Roshambo" with absolutely no explanation.  as the camera fades it looks like Fink walks in and punches his lights out, but ........................................................................

Wasnât there a similar thing when the joker movie was released. One of the main songs used in that movie is a Gary Glitter song but a report came out saying he would not get any royalties for the song in the movie. Could be a similar case here. Edit: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2019/oct/15/gary-glitter-joker-royalties As I suspected Gary Glitter does not get royalties for any of his music anymore.

How is that legally possible? I mean, even though he's a convicted pedophile, he's still the author of the song and therefore entitled to royalties

trambopoline
I really wish I had gotten one of those uncensored cover FOAM LPs now. I just realized it'll be the first Green Day release I don't own on vinyl. (minus GFB) I didn't buy one at the time bc I was thinking "I'll wait for that MOOTIK vinyl release",, but here we are...
