He’s such a dynamic performer letting him hand over the guitar responsibilities to Kevin a few times a show now really sets him free. He said he likes it and it shows. 3 hours ago, Sheenius said: I thought he was too stationed after the first leg of 21cb till now. We need some presence out there. To me the dude is an iconic guitar player. Sure he’s not slash or Alex Lifeson, but his sound is something that is a major part of the definition of rock music over the last 30 years. Some bands just blend together with their sound and you can’t tell the difference between which band is which. Billies guitar playing, as well as tres drumming, defines Green Day. Not Jason’s sound and not Kevin’s. Everything down to his pose while he’s playing guitar defines him. Him handing off the guitar on several songs is like Dirk Nowitzki saying “hey I’m not going to use my signature fade away when I shoot the ball anymore anymore”. Is he still going to be effective in other ways. Sure, but dirks fade is iconic. He’s already got a huge presence on stage. He doesn’t need to be running and jumping around with out a guitar to be noticed. 7

It's okay as long as he's not playing only for a few songs, but if he dropped the guitar for a longer portion of the show, I would agree 100%.

However, I like it when he's not playing on maybe more high energy songs like St. Jimmy or Bang Bang or FOAM, though, because you can tell he's putting a lot more energy into performing, if you will. But I'm honestly a huge fan of his guitar work as well, even if people note that the songs are simple, etc

Now that they're independent, they can feature whoever they want, cha cha cha! What bigger middle finger could they throw at the music industry than a collaboration with the ordinary people of an entire country? Especially one that's technically owned by another country? (as Greenland is technically owned by Denmark) That's the punkest thing I've ever heard of in recent years 1 5

Bakabanas
Well, in general, Green Day is a drug for me. As it is fading out in 2020, but still has the afterglow further into a year, I decided to wait until April-May to get a first listen to FOAM, because it has a smaller injection of a drug than the previous ones (albums). So I hope I will be able to hold on deep into the year 2021 without any cravings.

I thought the AI tour was a perfect balance. 5 minutes ago, 21st_century_gloria said: Whether you love the idea of FOAM or hate it, a unicorn puking a rainbow on my favorite album's cover is trillions of times a better marketing strategy than Johnny Rotten's country life butter commercials. shit when did the unicorn puke on the Insomniac cover? 😟 47 minutes ago, Billie Joe's Eyelids said: What is wrong with Ben Affleck?
