Probably just some error, but changing a bit probably means it's dropping soon-ish I totally missed that Guard Dog was the ARTIST and not the song!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are Green Day forming a new side project called Guard Dog? This confirms it! And to put another artist name on a Green Day album, that's really bold and different. But what will the song sound like? The other nine songs will be the fun-loving, bad feeling stuff we've come to expect from Green Day's Father of All Era. But why stop there? There's so much musical territory to cover! Guard Dog could be Green Day teamed up with some other folks. Making music like that weird piano song that was supposedly Green Day. or a Jazz song. or a classical song. Maybe even a shit-core song , that would be cool. GUARD DOG - Love and Money is for Stop, Drop and Rolling 4040 THE FULL LENGTH ALBUM COMING FEBRUARY 2020 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh (oh the band name guard dog - it heavily implies Billie will have a new vocal style : BARK! The Father of all Track will be a self titled song by Guard Dog, titled "Guard Dog". It'll actually be a combination of piano, jazz, classical, shit-core all filtered through Oakland Coffee / I mean Green Day. Oh, and the rest of the influence: 1

Because Green Day using the alias Guard Dog is amazing 6
That Dude
The obvious thing would be that each song is roughly 2.5 minutes and done. But there could be some 7 seconds songs and then a 4 minutes song. Or a few short ones and a couple of longer ones. 7 seconds is kind of a wasted oppurtunity. If there is this lopsidedness, a 50 second song like Blink's "Generational Divide" could give room for one more expansive track. However they are designed, I'm sure Green Day are going to do a great job.
Redundantuserjinxboy
Anyone else kinda scared that this is gonna be in fact a FOB type of rock album? All those claps and ooohs and voice filters I'm hearing are scaring me. That's not to say I don't like Father Of All. It's a pretty decent song if not a bit underwhelming for a first single. Sorta seems the band is just trying everything to be a commercial success

Sorta seems the band is just trying everything to be a commercial success I don’t think clapping is a commercial sound indicator tho, it has been used in rock n roll music since rock n roll day one. That reminds me more of Longshot or Foxboro tracks (even tho they have been using clapping in GD songs as well in the past), but I really can’t hear this “modern FOB” sound here. I think that if the clapping, especially in what we heard of Fire ready aim, has some inspiration, it’s from songs like this

I guess part of me wants a longer song. Doesn't have to be 10 minutes, just something big and well crafted. A 4 minute experiment in power ballads perhaps. But I'll take 10 punches to the face-types as long as quality is there, and I'm sure it will be. I wonder if there will be anything slower within this short song soundscape? There are short slow songs, but then again this thing has a puking unicorn on the front, so who knows?

Popular Post Montclare
I will always stand up for Ordinary World. It's a perfect relaxing song to me. Anytime it comes on, I immediately feel my blood pressure drop and pulse slow. I think it's the perfect way to end RevRad, especially after the epicness of Forever Now. RevRad wouldn't feel complete without it.

I wish I wasn't a lazy fuck and search the forum for either RevRad or the Ordinary World thread someone gave their way of putting it it's a great ending it was something like Forever Now is Billie coming to terms of life and "normal" and that OW was his acceptance of it
