Popular Post Sanity Loan
My favorite set of lyrics so far is in “Junkies On a High” where Billie goes from using “Oh yeah” as filler to quoting the Kool-Aid man. And it fits with the song. Clever. 3 1

It KIND of fits, and even rhymes. "Oh Yeah" is "Homecoming 3" We haven't heard "Homecoming 2" yet. Nightlife is Homecoming 2

Sorry you don't find anything you like about it. Im actually finding it quite refreshing - there are some quality lyrics imo.
That Dude
My Ranking of the songs: 1. Graffitia (Most of us are digging this one, I think. It’s the anthemic side of Green Day) 2. Junkies on a High (I’m in the minority on this one, I know) 3. Sugar Youth (This one sky rocketed after a few listens) 4. OH yeah (Come on guys. It’s one Green Day’s best songs ever and you know it) 5. Meet me on the Roof (Liking this one more and more!) 6. I was a Teenage Teenager (Seen this one getting a lot of hate. It’s awesome!) 7. Father of All (A truly great single, but the others are newer, so I like them more at the moment) 8. Take the Money and Crawl (Really enjoying this one, even though I can’t make out a single word other than the title and c*&^) 9. Fire Ready Aim (A fun song, but eh) 10. Stab You in the Heart (a fun song, but another one with indecipherable singing and the guitar is just WAAAY overpowering. I heard someone saying this song samples Tutti Fruiti or something like that.

Bruno Mars, The Clash, Tom Petty. I personally hear Springsteen. It feels very much like a 21st Century Breakdown song to me, or at least like it was inspired by the same things.

Popular Post DookieLukie
Didn't care for "Take the Money and Crawl" at first but it's becoming a favorite. I love how disgusting it sounds and the cool Western intro. 4

I don't hear the other stuff though. Add this to your London Calling tracklist. It fits. Especially the ending songs on the record.
