Red
6 minutes ago, Sheenius said: Yeah but that's more a parallel in positioning through both coming at transition periods in time and in their career. The reviewers are drawing parallels in the music, songwriting and sound of the songs/record. Well that's a bit odd to me, I personally don't hear any similarities to Warning's sound or music so far, but as others and I have mentioned here there are countless melodies from other songs (Green Day or not) that are scattered all over the record and I would say in my opinion that it has far more in common with those than Warning. If anyone hears the comparisons to Warning, I would be interested to know your opinion on it. Edit: I am not really a lyrics guy, but Warning did touch on some darkness at some points, so maybe that's where the main comparisons are, although I do believe that lyrically this is the darkest record they have done so far.

GuitarPunk94
Foam will be the last lp with warner.. i dont know how it works in the music business, but does this mean that technically green day could release songs by themselves with the start of 8th feb ? Popular Post TJChrobo
So I have a couple of friends at some local indie record stores. One of them owns the store and is a buddy of mine from high school. They both said that they get the CD and vinyl tomorrow. I don’t know if it is regional, maybe some other places have it already. So I MIGHT be able to get the CD early tomorrow. Fingers. Fucking. Crossed. 🤞🏻 5

Last I heard GD was still in discussion with Warner and possibly open to continuing their partnership if they were allowed more freedom.

Yeah I figured it fit well with the vibe of the song and decided to leave them or add them.

Even with the rip, you can hear all the instruments distinctly. More energy than RevRad for sure. Lots of cool little effects thrown in too. Yeah I love that whooooooosh sound right before the first verse of Oh Yeah!
