I wouldn't like a rap Green Day song but, for me, this wouldn't made me "less fan" Congratulations! You have just won front row tickets to the Green Day Rap Opera: Oh Yeeah! Starring Lil Jon and Frank Storm as they fight their way through Vietnam and find a love like no other!!!
The Grohl
My orders say pending and processing 🙄 and Amazon says they wouldn't deliver the CD til Tuesday 😤 I'm hoping the Target near me has it in stock so I can at least pick up the CD.
That Dude
Haven't even tried to pick the 4th single yet. But I will be miffed if there isn't one. Gotta have at least 4. I am still waiting for more Trilogy and Rev singles.

They should pick Sugar Youth, it would compensate the ballsiness of picking the other three songs in spite of the expected fandom reaction

Totally, ironically enough probably FRA is the only song that works well in the context of the record, is fun as hell, but doesn't really work as promotional single IMHO. I would have picked Stab 100 times over it if it wasn't for the NHL deal.

BratReject23
I've played the album a few times so all I can say is that for me the songs sound good even with that quality which isn't the final product. Better that rev rad? Idk, but I think Forever Now just smashes some songs from this record. Foa 6/10 Fra 8/10 Oh yeah 7/10 Meet me on the roof 9/10 I was aTeenage teenager 5/10 Stab you in the heart 6/10 Sugar Youth 8/10 Junkies on a high 7/10 Take the money and crawl 10/10 Graffitia 8/10 7.4/10 1

dannygreen
Father of all - 5,5/10 (Not a bad track, grew a little on me but still not related and find it weak) Fire ready aim - 4/10 (Just useless to my ears and killing Billie's voice) Oh Yeah - 6/10 (More original and a step ahead from their comfort zone but you got bored of it too much easily and It's also a bit slow) Meet me on the roof - 7/10 (Reminds me so much of Paper Bullets and so glad to have such a moment on a green day record) Teenage Teenager - 6/10 (Too long for my taste, the chorus is good but it just doesn't sound too inspired for my taste) Stab you in the heart - 4,5/10 (Found it useless and forced like Fire ready aim but production on it is good, sure will be funny live if they'll ever play it) Sugar youth - 8,5/10 (wish it was longer, took my heart when the chorus kicked in, it has that vibe from old Green Day) Junkies on a high - 7,5/10 (Very particular and hard to digest but I appreciate so much the big effort, getting out of their comfort zone. Hearing some vocal chopping on a green day record is so strange but I love it) Take my money and crawl - 6,5/10 (Average, reminds me so much of bouncing off the walls, still a rock'n'roll but I'm hearing a bit of experimentation) Graffitia - 9,5/10 (Green day at their best being totally Green Day doing what they're best at) After a couple of days of listening Maybe it will grow on me but as for now the only tracks I really enjoying are Sugar, Graffitia and Meet me on the roof. Junkies and take my money are interesting, the rest for me could fit for an album like demolicious or shenaningans I understand the purpose but I'm not so much into it. If I were to produce the album I admit I would suggest to scrap the most of this and use only Graffitia and sugar maybe. By the way I can feel the fun and passion so I'm happy the same, I will listen only the songs I like. Not putting any technical or mixing opinion because of the leak quality, just ranking the songs.

I know it is sampled, What I meant was that this song is the more commercial tune on the record and seems to be made for the radio promotion and more for a pop crowd. Making glam commercial again with the arrangement and the effects they used for me is something original.
HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN
Stab you in the heart is totally butchered by the leak. Trying to catch the elements that are only hearable in the background and there’s so much stuff going on. I really, really, really look forward to hearing this in the actual record, I have the feeling this song will be completely changed (for the better) by it.

I remember some of the reviews pointed towards this, it sounds like this song will have a lot of contemporary music elements and details making it a real modern take towards R&R, but the only thing you can (poorly) hear in the leak are the most prominent guitar, drums and voice tracks.
