Isn't it funny how pessimistic nearly everybody here was for the last months and now it seems like nearly everybody loves it :D

Meanwhile I was a broken record with countless statements like these:

Spoiler

I have such high hopes for the next album.

can't wait for this upcoming album!

I think the album will be a fucking smash hit amongst us fans

The album is fucking fantastic and we'll all love it

My expectations are at an all time high

I've had a good feeling about this upcoming album all along and now I'm more excited than ever.

I still have the highest of expectations

my expectations are as high as ever this is gonna be amazing

This era will be amazing.

I'm still excited for this era

So excited for this album!

So damn excited for this album to drop!

I've had a feeling since RevRad that it will be absolutely amazing.

YES I went back and looked at my posts lol. I was just so damn curious about what predictions I had made and whether they were correct or not! I was also convinced we would get an album with lots of songs and instead we got 26 minutes lol. I also went on and on about how I think they'll finally change up their live shows. Dear god please let me be right about that.. It's actually a lot of fun browsing the anticipation thread(s) and see everyone collectively descend into madness.

How many bands come out with new albums 30+ years into their career that fans actually want to hear all of live (as opposed to the hits)?

Exactly it’s not like it’ll cut that much into their set time.

they will still have an hour or so for Hitchin a Ride 😂

I hope you're right about the shows too. I need to hear these songs

Playing a bit with the tracks on Audacity to make them sound slightly better. Butch if you read this please forgive me.

I read through the lyrics again and I'd say Graffitia lyrics don't look that great on paper, but totally work with the music

I think they are the best lyrics of the record.. Meaningful and well written in Bj style, finally no more money and paranoia

I thought the album length might turn out to be a disappointment for me but it's not. Of course I'd happily get more fantastic songs like these, but I've listened to the full thing countless times already and have yet to feel it's too short.

Yeah, definitely! Weren’t Dookie and Insomniac only 30 minutes long each?

Same, I'm actually really happy that it's a shorter album. I struggle to listen to the longer albums all the way through in one sitting, but I listened to this one on repeat several times in a row and found it super easy listening and not disappointing at all!

I usually can’t listen to long albums front to back. 21CB, for example, looks too much to me and when I listened to the whole American Idiot, I felt kinda tired lol but this album is gonna be easy to listen and I think it’s clever for them to release that kinda album, it’s straightforward and also very diverse so, it looks appealing in every way

I'm still waiting for the album on Friday, but still hoping that all of the songs from this album are played live during this era. Hopefully there'll be at least 6/7 songs a night (they aren't long songs, so GD have no excuses ). The back cover is 100% better than the front cover (no wonder some people thought the album was a troll), but I'm hoping GD can redeem themselves with the pictures in the lyric booklet.

So in the end, it is a troll album...

that like at the end of a horror movie when the villain re-emerges

They trolled us by making us think it was a troll album when it wasn't. Makes sense to me.

But now the YouTube description for FRA doesn’t make sense. “How many trolls does it take to screw in a light bulb?” Unless of course we get that second album before the tour like Billie promised
