As a hardcore green day fan who loves punk this album is complete shit and is real pain for my heart. first and last listen. Don’t let yourself be constrained by preconceptions of what you think it should be. I bet if you listen to it again you will like it more. Wash, rinse , repeat. But each to their own. I love the fact that I can’t say “ it sounds like a typical Green Day record”

Would love to know the age range of those who love this GD are very good at being relevant For example Pearl Jam released something pretty poppy but a lot more mature sounding than FOAMF

But Junkies On A High is the worst green day song ever. Sounds like Imagine Dragons. Typical gdc whenever new music drops, one of their least favorite song will automatically become "the worst green day song ever". 8

Denice
It's different but I don't hate it. Need to listen to it a few more times but I think I'll really like this album.
redline punk
Sugar Youth and Take the Money and Crawl are my favs right now. Hope stereo sounds better
Redundantuserjinxboy
This is either one above or one below revrad in terms of green day albums for me. I think it's more fun than revrad but I need to consume it more to get my full thoughts. All I know for sure is that I am IN LOVE with sugar youth and this album ain't half as bad as some where expecting.

The best part of this album is sugar youth thay sounds like rashambo and now i wanna listen to that album instead I think overall I like the trilogy more, but I could consider this a 4th trilogy album to be honest, although it is better produced I will give it that. It's not a bad record at all but it's not going to be one of my favorites that's for sure. Its a 6 or a 7 out of 10 from me so far music wise, and I don't think that number is going to go higher. You know what? I am tempted to say a 6 because of the album art. There are 4 songs that I really, really like on here, and 6 that are "ehh" to "nah". Everyone's gonna have their own opinion, but I certainly don't think this is trash. By Green Day standards though, yeah I can see why some people aren't digging it with some of the fantastic albums they have released in the past. Here's hoping that there's more coming soon though. penbreaker
I was teenege teenager could be SWRS song too. I liked album at first listen. I needed time for that with Revrad. For me 8/10.
NotTrain
Okay, my two cents (not that they matter in the slightest). Father of All is a weird way to start the album but okay Fire, Ready, Aim is what it is Oh Yeah! is slowly growing on me but it's not my fave song on the album Meet Me On The Roof as an instrumental sounds like the background to time-lapse videos on YouTube of middle aged guys building flat pack furniture. I Was a Teenage Teenager gives me the impression that Billie Eilish and Billie Joe worked on this together, especially the opening verse, I have no idea why. Stab You In The Heart is a bop. That's all there is to say. The opening to Sugar Youth sounds like it's gonna be in the background of a lot of "edgy" TikTok's, but the song as a whole sounds more like old old school Green Day to me Junkies on a High gave me big Lady Cobra vibes, like a slooooooooooowed down Lady Cobra Take The Money and Crawl could easily be a Foxboro song with a Western style music video. I hope regardless it gets a Western style music video. I just want to see Billie, Mike and Tre have a three way stand off outside a saloon. Graffitia sounds to me like a big goodbye to Warner and going "indie". We talk about eras on GDA in terms of albums, but this really is the end of an era for Green Day. Overall, is the album as bad as everyone thought it would be when the god awful album art was released? No. Is it Green Day's magnum opus? No. Will there be a few songs that I think will be really popular on radio? Absolutely. I think that both Oh Yeah! and Stab You In The Heart will get a lot of airplay.
Verycool99
I don’t really like the style of most of the songs, but they had to try something new. I need to hear a better quality version a few times but so far it’s about a 5/10 for me

Of course it matters dude, I love seeing what people think and it's good to see some honest to god criticism. I completely agree with you on TTMAC too, that song is one of the few that I really enjoy here. Not a bad album, but not a great one either, sits somewhere in the middle and is fun to listen to.

Don't super like every song but overall I am really happy to hear some changes in their sound as I think that they are all extremely talented and shouldn't restrict themselves to always sounding typical green dayish to fulfill expectations of those who refuse change and development in music. I also absolutely love their older stuff, not so much before dookie, but going to pasalacqua is one of my favorite songs so there's that. I get it that you want green day as we all know it, but some people just gotta let go already. Different decade, different everything, let the guys grow as artists and as people.

HAPPY ZOMBIE UNICORN
There's at least 3 songs that are instant favourites (not of this album, overall). I mean, I had to listen to Graffitia 4 times in a row, what a gem.
