Leaks are coming tonight and the chorus of I was a Teenage Teenager starts with „Our bodies shake as I love you goodbye“ 😂

I want MOOTIK to succeed more than FOAM just because I'm petty, in fact I like both

I just want Rome Falls to succeed more, I mean it‘s the perfect ballad, radios would love it

What's really weird is one of my co-workers came up to me the other day while we were talking about bands touring, not knowing how much of a fan of GD I was and asked me if I knew about this fake Green Day album going around. I was all like yeah and he proceeded to tell me how he things it's better than real GD and it's what he wishes they were doing instead. I am just like "each to their own".
Why pick just one when you can have both? they are just two very different flavors of the same style of music.
Only one has a really fucking shit album cover.

I'm happy for Panicland that their fame is spreading outside our small circle. It's cool to enjoy both, but I'd still prefer if the one that got me genuinely excited was more real.

Yeah, hopefully radios can still pick up on it if the project keeps gaining momentum online

I know right! That's what surprised me! He didn't even say "Panicland" in the entire time he talked about it, just went on about how he thinks "Rome Falls is such an amazing song and better than anything GD have put out recently".

Good on them honestly, even if they are making a name for themselves without it having to do with.. their name? lol

Not partaking in any pirated listening, my first listen will be on VINYL next Friday (assuming it arrives then).

It is a bit of a curse and a blessing at once. People are listening to their song, but pretending it's Green Day instead of paying attention to the fact that it's Panicland. It's still more attention than they'd get without it though, I guess.

Since radio audiences are not primarily made of 21CB nostalgics, I seriously doubt that the bad copy of a 2009 record can be a success in 2020 :P

Good point, but surely we can't be the only ones wanking over that epic, queen-like sound :P

I wouldn’t call it a bad copy at all. Sure it takes a lot of Green Day elements, but I don’t think Green Day has done anything with that type of sound ever. Love the song, but everyone likes what they like I guess.
