I fuckin' like Green Day, who knew? I do get the complaints about these songs sounding like iPod commercials or whatever but ehhh, I honestly like that for the guys. Sounds refreshing and kinda new for them, but the sound is one that's familiar and refined. The style/attitude of this era is not really connecting with me, but I don't hate it. I guess I just expected something different after Rev Rad. Looking at this track list though... oof. Just seems trite. I Was a Teenage Teenager might be one of the dumbest song titles I've ever heard, along with "Oh Yeah!" being a song title, but I can't lie and act like I am not super hyped for a song called "Oh Yeah!" It's weird. I've never felt like this before in regards to Green Day. I feel like I am not enjoying the presentation, but I do enjoy the songs and I have such faith in these dudes.
