I actually thought it was more The Network trying to be FBHT who are trying to be Longshot who are trying to be Prima Donna who are trying to be Jeff Matika who's trying to be Green Day.

How did this turn into a Jeff convo

i already know grafitia will be my favorite song. it’s the best song title they’ve had since some of the tracks off 21CB

Whaaaat? "makeout party" wasn't a good enough title for you?

obviously im joking, that was a cringe level 9000 title imo

A lot of moments like this throughout the trilogy. They explained it as the before the party - the party - hangover. I've been thinking of it as normal day - train wreck - after the train wreck lol

I thought Uno delivered on what they stated but even Uno has a few small cringe moments lyrically. Uno made sense and if you were to remove the rock operas Uno would fit chronologically after Warning. Dos would be out of left field and Tre could be a fit but didn't pack a punch hard enough. I was expecting Tre to be a compact 13 song album in their contemporary style that found them success on AI with BOBD, WMUWSE etc.

I'm curious about what the lyrics are like for FOAM's 8 remaining tracks. The first 2 tracks haven't dived into any lyrical themes they're almost serving the purpose of keeping the mystery alive.

Dos was just....uhhhh......

I think the 8 remaining tracks on FOAM are going to be more or less the same as the ones we have so far. It's not like they're trying to make a statement. Just party with a unicorn.

Even though I've always personally seen the FOAM title track as very political, that's only my personal opinion and doesn't add to what the answer may be.

Tre had a whole lot of potential to be that imo but half the songs seemed unfinished

I really like a lot of the songs on Dos but you can’t shake the feeling that it seems like the soundtrack to a movie about sex addiction.

tbh the only ones i liked were Lazy Bones, Baby Eyes, and Amy--the only ones that don't belong on that soundtrack lmao

But there are a few more people involved in a TV show than in a music album 😅

Just a few... Haha 😏

Special in what way? Keep in mind this is a short album, none of the songs are going to be epic 9-minute tracks

It's going to be an epic 9-minute track with sax.  Haha.

I am not sure, just have a really good vibe coming from the shorter-named tracks.

Also, we arent entirely certain the album is as short as Billie claimed.  The titles changed, it's possible the length changed or he was just misdirecting us.

But mark my words.

Last track is gonna leave us wanting more of this funky album and sound.

Green Day will have us baited for Green Day 14.....whatever form that ends up taking.............

I think that speculation is a bit whack. I know the first part was in jest. Obviously one would want the closing track to leave an impression but that's not always the case and it having a short title means nothing. I AM intrigued by the title, however.

As for Green Day 14, I'm way more excited for that (whether it's Magnum Opus or not) than whatever this is gonna be...

Considering Panicland came forward it's not gonna be magnum opus lol

magnum opus has been 1800 percent debunked. it was panicland all along apparently (there are still conspiracies ofc because why not)

Unless @GDFan2019 is right and Billie coached Braedon to sing like him in order to troll all the fans and then GD will release the whole thing on April Fools ;)

***edit*** I'm obviously joking about MOTIK being Green Day. It's not.

I haven't been following the rumours so I have no idea. Has Panicland released anything? While I'd be pissed at the false leaks I did like what I heard...

They released 4 songs, and they released the one called "Rome Falls" as an official Panicland single. You'll be surprised. All 4 tracks are amazing.

theres a whole panicland thread in general chat if you wanna discuss it in depth btw

I believe the entire album is going to rock my socks off.

But you are right.  Until we get this bad boy into our brains, we have no idea.

If the album is indeed 26 minutes, it will be perfect for my commute to work everyday.  26 minutes exactly.

All that I ask is no police sirens in the songs.  Seriously.  Who makes a song and thinks "what this needs is police sirens blaring out of nowhere"

?????

Darn music makers.
