I wonder why the band hasn't revealed the track list yet? Maybe the better question is why haven't they done a thing with the album since its announcement? That second single needs to happen soon.

What’s your personal theory? Why are they only promoting the Hella Mega Tour?

My personal theory is that FOAM was only announced at the time it was so that it could coincide with the tour announcement and the music Weezer and FoB had to release. Earlier than they wanted. Proof? None really, other than hindsight and the fact they’ve done nothing except a music video and the weak NHL partnership since then. It’s just hard to explain the lack of promotion since the announcement.

Things will have to pick up in January if this album actually means anything to the band.

I’m starting to think there will be something else prior to the tour starting.

Wasn't it originally supposed to come out earlier than Feb though based on what your source said? But yeah it does make sense that they maybe released the single to coincide with the tour.

Seems like a lot of signs saying that something will come prior to the tour starting. Which won't be much longer after FOAM gets released.

This is exactly what Billie hinted at! “We’ll probably put out another album like before the tour or something.”

As an eleven year old, I feel victimized at that remark.

It means you're a mature 11 year old!

Kinda hope they don't announce another tour too soon, I mean I hope they do their own and headline but wait a bit after to announce because a lot of us are still recovering from shelling out the money for Hella Mega ... well at least me. Hope to God I don't regret it.

I really have no idea what to expect for this album. I guess the tracklist is okay but kinda sad they changed Bulletproof Backpack.

They always change song titles at the last minute

Few examples:

March of the Dogs=East Jesus Nowhere

Desperate=Murder City

Last Gang in Town=Rusty James

That's true but i'm wondering if this is the updated one! 🤔

Tracklist, yes!

That's all I needed.

Now we can speculate on what the story of this rock opera will be:

Guy is frustrated with life.  Goes nuts.   Parties, gets his heart broken and then looks back at his wild ways with a mixture of sadness and closure.

Wait, that sounds familiar.

Maybe the next rock opera can change things up a bit, like tell the story in reverse or replace the main protagonist with a woman or something.   :()

I know that titles are the least important part of a song, and I don't judge based on them....but those are some clunky titles.

Really glad to see shorter ones on this revised tracklist,

and for some reason feel as though "Graffitia" is going to be something really special.

Something very, very special.

Special in what way? Keep in mind this is a short album, none of the songs are going to be epic 9-minute tracks

That's not a theory, it just feels like a fact that everything came that early because of the tour. Weezer's album literally doesn't come out until eight months after that initial Hella Mega announcement. We could have gotten it worse though, The Killers announced their new album with a UK tour but all that's announced is the title and a cover that according to the band's website is subject to change.

At a time when news and trends come and go every five minutes, why does music still take so long to make and release?  They can produce ten hours of a top quality television series in a year, yet it can take years to get thirty minutes of music.

But there are a few more people involved in a TV show than in a music album 😅

High key annoyed at the exclusion of bulletproof backpack or its name change or whatever

by the way, throughout september and october I was getting bombarded by hella mega tour ads, and then last month they literally stopped. anyone else have that happen? it's like all the promotion stopped, at least through my strain of internet, I havent heard about it in quite a while...

That doesn't sound too odd, tbh. Most concert ticket sales happen in the window immediately following announcement. I'd imagine ads will die off for now, and then probably pick up locally surrounding the dates themselves.

I get that but it was kind of weird because it was true bombardment in my case. I was watching a video on how to fry a watermelon steak (im not joking) and I got two ads for hella mega. Like, there was promotion everywhere... but you're probably right lol
