I'm all for people having opinions, but pretending you know how much effort a band did or did not put into a song is pretty fucking stupid. You can like it, you can dislike it, you can feel the quality of the writing is or is not high for your personal standards, but to pretend you know how much effort they put into it is entirely incorrect. Plenty of bands put a lot of effort into writing music that I end up disliking. Just because it does not meet my subjective, personal standards does not mean they did not put effort into it.

Sounds like a great idea for a concept album. 

Edit: The idea actually reminds me a little bit of Aqualung by Jethro Tull, especially the song My God. One of my favourite albums.

Just disappointed we didn't get a november single, I really was hoping for a single a month since we got FOAM in sept and Fire Ready Aim in oct. Oh well.

Me too. I thought for sure we’d get at least three official singles out of this by now. What surprises me is they refuse to play FRA live. Even at the Tiki Bar where they did an impromptu GD set they played FOAMF again but not FRA. I doubt they’ve even rehearsed it. I wonder if they’ll even play it on the tour. So when’s the next real single coming? Maybe one in January and that’ll be it.

Same! I think FRA would honestly sound even better live. I was low key expecting them to play it when I saw the recordings of them playing at the Tiki Bar... I wonder what the next single will be. We've got 9 out of 10 titles so far...

We kinda did... But it was a re-release of a song from 2015.

I'm sure we'll get another track this month. I just hope it's better than what we've heard from FOAM and FRA

I actually doubt we’ll get a new single this month now since they already released the old Xmas song and they’ve said nothing about a new single tomorrow or any time soon. People are busy with other things the week up to Christmas so everything takes a break. My guess is we won’t see another single until the first week of January and that will be it until the album drops.

Most likely either FOAMF or American Idiot in my personal opinion. Either way, looking forward to it.

At the rate they're going, probably Foam and Basket Case......again

If they dropped a single around Christmas I wouldn't mind but it also probably won't happen

Crazy that they re-released Xmas time of year... maybe that's the final unnamed track on FOAM.

I low key liked FRA a lot but thought it could've been better... it probably will be better live.

I was going to say that second one is true every time, but really I feel like it was only Insomniac and Dos that had a bad representation with singles.   Now this album does have the feel of those two so far, so you could be onto something.

How many times has it been their 2nd or 3rd single that breaks through with success while their 1st kind of withers? The exception recently being Bang Bang. And I don’t count FRA as a second single. Just a theme song for the NHL.

I’m afraid to make any predictions. To me this album may not be a commercial pop sell out album sonically (no featured rappers or anything) but with the NHL and now video game deals associated with it (not to mention the Hella Mega tour) it seems like they are going for broke and trying to cash out with as much as they can stuff in their pockets like it’s the last chance they’ll ever have of making money from their music.

I don’t know, to me this just looks like an attempt to break through commercially on social media and younger generations. I don’t think that the goal is to directly gain from these deals, but by how they will expose the band to a broader audience. 
Whether this will work out or not it’s a completely different thing 😄 But the 21CB promotion was not that different, I think people, including fans, just accepted that at the time because they were the “American Idiot Band”.

Why is it wrong to be on nfl commercials and video games? Like promoting the new music and get as many people as possible to hear it and get paid for it is a bad thing?
