I’m sure the album has already sold a lot before anyone has heard it, maybe enough to debut at number one on some charts. It seems artificial but there you go. Interesting on this point that Billboard just changed how they count albums that are bundled in total album sales. The change will take effect before FOAM is released, so maybe those efforts will be pointless https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/8544817/new-rules-merchandise-album-bundles 15 hours ago, paperlanterns22 said: They just played the instrumental version of Father of All on Thursday Night Football. I think Warner/Crush are ahead of that change though because if I recall all items bundled with the album were available separately I think with or without the download (that’s how I bought the coffee mug without having to buy the album a second time) and the rule doesn’t apply to ticket sale bundles, only merch.

The ticket thing was just a code, you didn't actually purchase the tickets in a bundle.

Any album sold will still be counted by RIAA for certification purposes. There probably won't be any certifications though.

I don’t really think it’s fair to make a decision like buying an album solely on the title of a song. I was pretty young and Wasn’t following the band at the time, but I’ll tell ya that if I saw the title Jesus of Suburbia, I would’ve been hesitant to listen to it. On the flip side, I remember I saw the title Little Boy Named Train and I imagined this really epic song, but it turned out to be one of my least favorite songs. 16 minutes ago, Jorgemas said: Well it’s called dedication, and obsession for some. They are just trying out a new sound and it’s exciting to see that.

Every record is slightly different than the previous, so every album has it‘s one unique style but what GD managed to do as well, is that they always pack this signature GD style in every song. They stay therselves and don‘t try to change their style just to fit in this more pop/dance listening world. And somehow they even manage to get new and young fans every year with that strategy and I really love that! 1

Just because two songs aren’t of the quality you expect, doesn’t mean you can safely, 100% come to that conclusion. Also, people said similar things about the Trilogy, then RevRad came and quickly silenced people who spouted doom and gloom for the band’s new material.

Songs/singles are released to we have idea what album will be like. Fire ready aim is okay but foam is gross. I’m not judging the album, I’m judging the singles, and how they begin to act and perform. Trilogy and revrad was a bomb. You can enjoy your time and also can ignore my sms. I’m just saying obvious things to me. For the first time I can say gd ducked up. But who cares. I move on with my life (((

This one has changed titles several times. Now it is called "I wuz a Teenage Teenager Teenaging" It's working title was "Inglorious Kind of Magnum Teenagers" or something like that. But yes, I'll spend money on this album. Even if it is as awful as some of the song titles are clunky, CD's are 9.99. I can make 10 bucks in less than an hour, so it's not really a hardship.

Popular Post The Grohl
It's just a song title. There are plenty of good songs with dumb titles. Seems a bit harsh to judge an entire album off of this.

Father of All is a description of the song rather than part of the story it tells. Fire Ready Aim may be the only title taken from the chorus, we have to wait and see.
