What a night! Beat up from the Fall Out Boy set (forgot how horrible to your body being near the front near Pete is--Pete landed on me twice too lol). Have to drive 5+ hours home now so can't read the forum, but holy shit I missed Green Day live!! They are by far the best live band on the planet haha.

So have the boys still got it? Those of you who went last night

Haven’t missed a beat.

All hits and a fair variety of albums covered.  No nimrod, 1039 or Kerplunk but still a variety.

Think about THIS....this is the beginning of Greatest Hits Volume III..

I hope that they release at least 4 singles from this insanity.  Or since they are imancipated now they could release every song as a single and see what happens.  You never know what will stick.

anyone got a Jesus of Suburbia video?

It's too long to play.  This new punk-version of Green Day only play the "I don't care" part and then smash their gear.  Haha

That would be cool to see them do parts of it seperate.

People need to get off their cell phones a bit (I'll never understand how you can keep it up while being that close, but never mind) but anyway Billie is cute as fuck. I missed his live GD voice. That white jacket was smokin hot. And Foam live is tremendous

I’ll take a backing vocal track over Jeff any day. Then can we keep Kevin?

If they trim the fat from their recent arena shows, they could do a tight 90-100 minutes that would be spectacular. Seriously after seeing Billie perform this 12 song mini set I don’t know how he didn’t collapse after that. I’d rather he do 90 minutes high energy than two hours tired and hoarse at the end.

Kevin is an asshole. Jeff, I seem to be one of the few to have no pb with him at all.

At the end of each 2h30+ RevRad show, Billie was not particularly tired and hoarse. His energy and voice were perfect.

What a fucking night. What a fucking show. Despite what everyone else seems to be saying, I thought Weezer and Fall Out Boy absolutely crushed it. I went in with low expectations for both, and I was blown away by how much fun both of them were.

Green Day, of course, crushed it as usual. While I would have like a few more Nimrod/Insomniac/Kerplunk cuts in the set, I also understand it definitely wasn’t the gig to pull those out at.

I have to say though, out of four Green Day shows I’ve been to in the past few years (Palladium, Rose Bowl, Oakland Stadium, Longshot at Teragram) this was, by far, the worst audience I’ve experienced. Multiple people outright shoving people to get in front of them, blocking people’s views for the entire show so they could stream their Facebook Live videos. Had one girl literally digging her elbow into my shoulder blade intentionally, because she was mad I was closer to the stage than she was. I literally spent the second half of Green Day’s set trying to protect a handicapped guy who had to sit for most of the show, most people were literally jumping right on top of him with absolutely no regard! I don’t know if the FOB/Weezer fans were the culprit or if I just have been lucky to not have to deal with these shitty “fans” in the past, but holy shit, some people need to learn basic human decency and respect.

Hope you had a positive experience overall! I've dealt with aggressive fans (stupid, basically) in the past as well. I agree about your last sentence definitely

For those who attended: were there many fans from Weezer and FOB or Green Day fanbase were the majority in attendence?

I was watching some Weezer videos and it seems that there weren't any Weezer fan there

Kevin has an extremely good reputation with fans.  It's one thing to be okay with Jeff, or even prefer him, but let's not slam someone.

Kevin seems like a cool dude. Surprised to hear that he's a jerk? He always seems to have a good rep with fans. The one time I got to talk to him he was super nice!

I had a beer with Jeff and Sarah Cool at Rainbow Pizza one night when they couldn't get into the Roxy. LOL It was awesome, had some great chats. Greg Schneider was with them as well!

She’s just mad because Kevin dragged Billie away from her when she met him 😂

Met Kevin, Jeff, and David after a show, and they're all nice guys. I was shocked to see something negative about Kevin!

You seem to retain particularly well my posts for someone who royally ignores each and every one of them.

I'm not mad, I feel very lucky to have had my moment with Billie and no one could erase the magic of it, but Kevin behaved like an asshole at that precise moment. When you get to meet Billie after all the time and money i spent on the travelling several times (much more than you comfily in your car, sorry but it's true) it was a shit move to do what he did. Apart from that I don't know him and won't judge him further than what I saw. He's pretty immature in his possessiveness at his age given how much he sees Billie these days. Perhaps he's not a jerk with people who are also fans of him, idk. Forgive me if I have no intrinsic interest in him at all. What's too bad is that you should not be forced to show interest in him as a musician to have respect from his part. Perhaps he only respects his fans cause he feels overshadowed by Billie. My impression anyway

I would honestly love to have elements of reason to better my opinion of Kevin if I met him in real. The little I got of him was shitty but in no way do I pretend to know him as a whole

FIRST: You don't know the bands schedule, you also don't know how much other fans have spent on traveling to see the band.

SECOND: You say you aren't going to judge Kevin any further, but then you go on judging him and making accusations about him. That makes you look immature and possessive.

LASTLY: There are millions of fans who have not and will not meet Billie or any of Green Day. Stop being a baby about your "cut short" encounter.
