There’s no better gift in the world than concert tickets to see one of your favorite bands live. With the holiday season approaching, it’s also a good time to start thinking about what you want to ask your friends and family for this year.

We’ve made a list of 10 concert tickets you should ask for Christmas this year. Not only will you be getting a gift you love, but you’ll also have shows to look forward to while winter comes to an end. Check out the list of gigs below.

Arguably, the biggest tour of next year is already the Hella Mega Tour featuring Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer. With VIP tickets at what some fans are calling steep prices, it might be a good idea to put this on your Christmas list this year. Even though the shows aren’t until summer, it’ll give you something to look forward to while you wait for winter to end. You can see the full list of dates here.

Looks like that Monsters of Rock thing that inspired the Hella Mega tour has been inspired in return. Just saw that Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett are touring together in 2020. Like Hella Mega, they are playing PNC Park in Pittsburgh in August.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see live nation start kicking out a few tours like these every year from now on. They’ve been doing it on the amphitheater level with 3 headliners plus one opener (Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, The Cult and Bones in 2018 and Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, 3 Days Grace, and Dorothy this year) but now they’re moving it into stadiums. Plus Def Leppard has been doing the 3 band bill for the past 15 years or so, but not on this level. Next they’ll have a Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, The Who, plus Buffalo Springfield tour happening or something and you’ll only be able to pay solid gold for tickets.

I think part of the issue is that current popular acts aren’t very good or exciting live, with maybe a few exceptions. The 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s were definitely the peak of live music and it’s been downhill since. People are very nostalgic for that exciting live rock show.

I am going to Glasgow and get the odd message saying my tickets are still not ready to print, I assume because there is no support band agreed but I don’t need one.

I've got tickets for GD and the Killers next June. The Killers have support bands agreed but GD don't. Last night Ticketmaster emailed me yet again about both gigs to say that neither gigs have their tickets ready to print, therefore I assume the tickets not being ready is due to the gigs being 6 months away.

I didn’t know them but they sound great,  I’m very happy to have a new band to discover as an opening act :)

This is a format that we're gonna see often. It's got it's pros and cons for sure.

I'll love seeing GD at a larger venue but I'd love for them to come back next time for a dedicated GD tour even if it means a show in a hockey arena.

I saw that design on a shirt in the mall today. I went to the same store two-three weeks ago and they didn't have it so I guess this is new.
