Some of them are doing pretty good. But Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Dallas look bad. I’m not sure about the ones sold on other websites. and yet every single one of them has a high number of tickets on resale...

I've checked many European dates and in the majority of them there's still GA available so that's great because you're not "forced" to buy VIP whereas there are none in american dates. I'm ok with reselling as long as the tickets are not crazy expensive, but as if these shows weren't already "not cheap", the reselling prices are beyond madness. Totally agree with this What I was suggesting is that the issue you are facing in the US might not be the amount of VIP tickets, but the amount of resellers that bought shit loads of tickets, making them unavailable/less available for the general public only to sell them at higher prices. In Europe this used to be a big problem, but now it’s not that big anymore (and I think that’s why it’s still possible to find decent tickets for this tour), cause many states legislated to ban/regulate reselling: https://www.europe-consommateurs.eu/en/news-and-alerts/sports-and-events/the-resell-of-tickets-in-the-eu-forbidden-or-allowed/ Uk is one of the few states with a very weak regulation on this, and indeed those gigs sold out very fast and now have many tickets at crazy prices on resell websites. But even with these rules Golden Circle tickets for Milan sold out in a few hours (I don't know how many are sold)

I think in Italy now every concert ticket for shows above 5000 people is nominative, so resell is almost out of the picture there. Those are (mainly) genuine tickets bought by fans
pacejunkie punk
Do shows happening up to a year away sell out quickly though? Many people may be unable to commit to expensive show tickets for an event that (at least for Pittsburgh) is almost a year from now. Maybe they have a resurgence of sales in the spring when people start really thinking about their summer plans.

Yeah, I think a lot of stadium shows sell out closer to the concert date, at least this is my experience in my city. Unless we are talking about Ariana Grande and that kind of pop artists of course

All the casual fans will buy them much closer to the event. And I imagine the promotion will continue to be intense. One thing I don’t get though. Why have 2 or 3 shows in some states or in cities that are close together none i others? For example, they have shows in Pittsburgh and Philly but none in Ohio.

I know this doesn’t apply to Western Ohio but much of eastern Ohio is closer to Pittsburgh (2-3 hours) than Pittsburgh is to Philly (4-5 hours) so that could be why. Most of the northeastern cities NY, Philly, DC are within two hours of each other. Pittsburgh and Philly are not close just because they’re in the same state. pacejunkie punk
Yeah there was nothing on their general page so probably New York specific. Billie said something about hoping to have local bands play on outside or side stages maybe they are announcing one of those bands?
