Why does it always seem like tickets are more expensive for you guys in the US? Looking at the prices for the UK shows, they're very reasonable. £55, £65, £75 and £85.

This is hilariously frustrating. I would be way more angry and anxious if I knew for certain I wanted tickets. I'm just trying to see some prices so I can decide if I'm going. 🙄

I would imagine that the US prices would be similar. I paid $95 for upper deck in Citi Field, so the lower you go the higher the prices

Gotta love the $40 fee per ticket just cause its ~ticketmaster~ selling them. Been a while since I've seen a concert and yikes I forgot all about that junk.

But on the bright side, me and my squad are SET TO GOOO! Time for relief and to be properly excited about all this!

NGL, kind of glad that the US is going through this a day before so those of us purchasing thru ticketmaster in Europe have a fair idea of what madness to expect, queueing, pricing and otherwise. 🤣 Thanks for being the pioneers guys. 😀

Except it won't be half as bad for us. The systems will probably work better and the ga tickets won't be even nearly as expensive.

keep in mind this is just the pre-sale, more tickets for every category will be available when general sale starts

For sure it seems like they keep re-releasing rounds for pre-sale as well. Keep trying everyone.

I think it was wrong to put that American Express pre-sale ahead of the fans though.

It would have been better to see Green Day on their own at this point. It would have been smoother and tickets would be cheaper. Anyone know how long the GD set is supposed to be?

Sorry but what's the PIT/standing section at Wrigley Field? Me and my friends are kinda confused here with that list of options

It went relatively smoothly for me but the hardest part was finding the best seats for Pittsburgh because it's like stubhub you have to scroll through all the tickets and most of them are locked and it was hard to tell where on the map they were.  I wish it would show you only the D2C tickets.  Anyway, went for it randomly and got field seats in the back sections centerish so that wasn't bad.  Cost about $200 a ticket.  Also got two pit tickets for the Philly show at $235 each.  Damn I spent a lot of money today.  And now comes the 11 month wait for this show.  Hope the world doesn't end lol

^ This. I could not purchase a ticket for 40 minutes! I kept getting an error code anytime I tried to select a seat. Finally did get one in the lower level, though.

Is it me or are America's prices really fucking inflated? I think the most expensive ticket here is like £95, which I thought was a good price, I'm just looking for good seats, I hate being standing or in the pit for these big concerts.

Yeah, that's crazy. I can understand a price difference (not at that level anyway) with the GD solo shows, but London should be 85 for gold circle, and (almost) the same show. I bet that with the right flight tickets a trip to London can be cheaper than some of the US pit tickets 😕

That's unchecked capitalism for you.  We're supposed to have antitrust laws against this sort of thing but still Ticketmaster holds a monopoly and can add any fees they want.

Okay so as it stands, I'm probably not going. I got some decent seat sections, but when all is said and done 170 for one ticket? I guess I'm not really feeling the tour and right now I really don't know if I want to pay that much to probably skip most of the show. And I don't even know how long the band is playing.

What the fuck do these sections even mean? There's no seating chart.

Its the little text under the tour poster.

I'm in section 216. not great, but i'm okay with that. I felt very rushed to make my decision on the tickets.

These prices are like literally out of my social class. Every one of my friends were planning to go but we have to back out because we can't swing these prices

Holy fuck that's insane, we have fees too but nowhere near the fees I'm seeing here, there might be a £15 service charge and that's it haha
