I’m concerned for a baseball stadium (Pittsburgh) the stands will all be so far away you’re basically watching video screens. Yet for the field seats you’ll be closer but blocked by tall people because you’re on flat ground. If I have to make a quick decision for the best seats next week, do i choose the field or the stands?

Can't link it now as I am on my way home, but it might have been Ticketmaster. Usually they just used a standard seating chart, but why would they have sections on the ground?

For Citi Field I had seats along the baseline/almost at the foul line/ the outfield. Wasn't ideal cause for the group, the choreo is at an angle. That being said, I could see the group well without really needing the screen unless it was for close ups. I know I'll definitely not aim for the ones facing the stage head on as those would be too far

if it turns out theres no GA for these shows, i definitely wont feel bad for skipping out on this tour. fuck seats at shows.

I was in the pit for Wrigley, but there were seats behind us. I was second row in the stands in the section closest to the stage at the Oakland Colliseum, and was definitely watching the screens all night. That convinced me never to be in the seats again. Personally, I'd say if you're intent on being in the seats, I'd go with field ones, as long as you're in the first few rows.

I got my pre-sale code from Green Day's site. Here's to not having ticket master crash at 10am on Monday when everyone is scrambling to purchase tickets!

I don't know if my venue has a pit, I think it does. It's a sports stadium.

I can't find info about it on the ticketing page for my show. There's no info to look at other than when the presales start/which kinds, which is frustrating. They used to show the types of tickets that will be available, plus the prices for them, in advance. Maybe it's cause I'm using my phone vs desktop version of the site?? There's VIP packages listed too, with no info as to what they entail. It's like they want ppl to panic once everything shows up at sale time and just impulse buy.

When events first get put onto Ticketmaster, they often use generic seating charts or charts of previous concerts at the venue that don't necessarily reflect what the actual seating chart will be.  I've seen multiple events have one chart when the event is first added only for it to change to the actual one a couple days later; and I've even bought pit tickets to one show (Slayer this past spring) while the generic seating map with no pit was still being displayed.

I'm not saying these shows will for sure have a pit, but I am taking what I currently see with a grain of salt.

Dude!! Why not? I am gonna be in the SG show. The tickets are going on sale @10 AM local time on 20th Sept. Bangkok is really doable from India on a budget if planned this early.

Which is what I said from the start, I don’t think the prices for the UK are bad at all, plus there’s no special golden circle or anything

I just thought there was no way it wouldn't be more expensive! A big stadium, three headline bands and just prices going up in general. Pleasantly surprised

Eh, I do think everyone’s blown the whole co headline thing out of proportion, it’s still being promoted as primarily Green Days tour, with some cool supports.

The only thing I was worried about was some diamond and gold circle bullshit to try and get money in, which they’ve avoided.

Even I thought of going to SG show first, but then I realized Bangkok will be much easier on my pocket. What does the start time say for the shows you guys are interested in? 

 

Sorry if this has already been discussed... theres so many threads to keep up with atm. The Huddersfield one says 4pm which is great. To me that means that possibly both GD and FOB play full sets at least.

Damn Toronto is 5:30pm. But I'm not sure if that's show start time, or doors open time...they used to specify on the ticket page. I guess since it's just listing presale options and dates. Hopefully we all find out more on Monday

Yeah we will see. I think we can say for sure though that Hella Mega shows will kick off earlier that normal shows do
