What city was that? I literally went to 16 Green Day shows in 2017 and the only one I had trouble to get tickets for was Oakland! All the European ones were quite easy to get (I first bought a regular standing ticket for Ljubljana until I was able to find a Golden Circle ticket so that was the hardest in Europe)

It was Toronto. Maybe it's different here?? I saw them live in 5 different cities on the 21stCB tour 2009/2010, and the only one that I had issues getting tickets to was Toronto. No idea why. But it's seriously starting to annoy me.

I see! Yeah I think it has to do with the websites, as I had the most issues with American Ticketmaster

Fob’s Mania was IMO a shit album BUT the Mania songs played live were so much better than on the album, I may have actually LIKED Mania if they didn’t over produce it so much.

Also, am I the only one who’s not a fan of big screens behind the stage at concerts? (Ones showing prerecorded footage of stuff, not ones with close ups of what’s happening for people to see better from the back) Fob used their screens so much I felt so distracted I watched the screens more than the show & I rly hope that GD don’t go down that path if they’re touring together 😪 I can stare at screens all day every day for little cost, when I pay for live music I wanna see live music. Although i’m sure if I’m down the front, rather than the nosebleeds, it’ll probably be easier to ignore the screens hahaha.

Well, looking at how fast Slipknot tickets sold out for Munich... I guess it will be similar for GD. It’s not hard to get tickets though. You just need to keep on trying! And in case the site crashes completely you better go into the city and buy tickets at a shop! Did that for AC/DC in 2015.

My bets are on Rock im Park/ Rock am Ring, announcement probably Monday September 16. But in case they don’t do that, it will be interesting to see what they do instead!!!!

I agree with the screens part BUT I think GD did it very good on the 21CB tour! There was some stuff going on in the background on that skyline thing but not too much to be distracted by it!!

It’s a running joke in my family that i’m never forgiving my mom for not letting me go to any 21CB shows, she said I could go if I paid but it was before I was old enough to be employed 😭😂 I think this is a good time to remind her that I still haven’t forgiven her...

A couple of others have mentioned that they wouldn't mind this tour as long as GD's set doesn't shorten and the prices aren't HUGE. I'm in the same camp as you guys... I'm sure that at this stage of their career GD won't sign up for a tour where their normal set will be cut by an hour so I think how long they play will stay the same. FOB have said in the past that Green Day are one of their icons (I'm sure you've all seen them inducting GD into the Hall of Fame) so I can see them being up for the tour even though their regular set time will be almost cut in half. So I imagine it would be 30 minutes for Weezer, 45 minutes to an hour for FOB, and then GD do their thing! If you factored in a 15 minute changeover between Weezer and FOB and then 30 between FOB and GD, you're looking at 5 hours tops, which is doable I think.

I'm pretty late to this, but this sum's up my main concern. I really don't want a shorter GD show, I'd only be going for GD! I really should be more excited but the idea of stadiums as well...I imagine I will get excited if I get tickets and nearer the time, but a standard GD tour would have me buzzing a lot more.

Weezer and Green Day are two of may favorite bands and I have seen both bands live numerous times—I'm not too familiar with Fallout Boy.

One thing that disappoints me at these bigger shows is that the bands feel inclined to play the hits. Now that they'll essentially be trying to win over some non-fans, this is gonna be even more true! I've been seeing these bands live since the mid 90's playing songs like Welcome to Paradise, She, Buddy Holly, and Say it Ain't So. ALL of these are amazing songs but I would love to see them play some deeper cuts and new material. To this day I don't know why Green Day doesn't play Dirty Rotten Bastards or Panic Song live ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Well, I can understand Panic Song—that would probably kill Mike's fingers, haha.

P.S. I know many people gave up on Weezer years ago due to their lackluster material. But check out the White Album (2016) and Everything Will Be Alright In the End (2014). Both albums are a return to form!

Yes, it's mainly going to be the hits but I'm sure they'll still play some newer songs (probably singles for the most part)

I spoke with the director of the biggest arena in Quebec this morning and they're not booking the Hella Mega. So either it's in Montreal or they're not doing any tour in North America.

I would be terribly sad if Montreal doesn't get a dare...

New Album Cover??

Found this, might be legit?

You're late. This video is fake just as the account of dr.robertdoback. It's Panicland's studio and music.

Thanks, then.

Kind of bummed out because that album cover looked sick.

I’m not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but at least one of the people to receive a shirt is (or recently was) in the U.S.

I am now betting that there will be a U.S. leg.

Just because they’re from here doesn’t mean they’ll tour hear. Zebrahead hasn’t done a U.S. tour in five years, and they’re American.

It almost seemed like that for a hot minute. Or maybe I was just anticipating not having to worry about getting tickets!
