I think I posted here quite some time ago that Amyl & the Sniffers were no longer the opening act on the Europe leg of the tour and was wondering if there will be an opening act or not? Is it just going to be the 3 bands, could each of the 3 bands have more time if there's no opening act?

I haven't heard anything. Maybe they're waiting to announce a fourth band if things are able to go ahead?

This may mean absolutely nothing with regards to Hella Mega but Avril Lavigne is moving her tour to 2023 citing ongoing organisational difficulties due to Covid (venue capacities, etc)

He can’t be described as lucky considering what he has been and is still going through, but thankfully the quick reactions of those around him means he is still here to tell the tale.

germany / german shows wont take place most likely, our politicians are currently discussing what the next steps could be, and it looks like they plan to allow only 50% capacity (or max. 10.000) people for outdoor shows -.-

It will be difficult for them to tour with different rules regarding capacity from country to country. The first dates of the European tour is at the end of May. This will be intresting to follow.

Right now, in Italy we are starting to reopen, step by step. But for live music, from March 1 the capacity for concerts will increase to 50% indoors and 75% outdoors. 😢

Also isn’t their first show in Moscow? With what could be about to happen in the Ukraine next week I wonder if it would still be considered safe or advisable to perform there

That too. I don't think they'll play in Russia. If they don't, their next shows will be in Germany and Scandinavia.

My guess is that unless a large scale conflict breaks out, Russia is unlikely to become dangerous to travel to, even if an invasion to Ukraine happens.

They played Moscow in 2013 (following signing a petition in support of Pussy Riot)

Exactly. I'm pretty sure Moscow will be safe for tourist etc. Of course playing there during Russian invasion in Ukraine would be morally questionable choice, but well...

sooo i guess they wont play russia in the future, atleast thats what i expect them to do since putin declared some kind of war to the western world and all kind of political and democratical work we put in in the last decades

GDs show in berlin would be the start of their european tour, followed by german rock am ring/rock im park festivals, but even the german shows are still not 100%-guaranteed that they can take place because of the pandemic

I’m pretty sure future shows in Russia are happening unless they’re going to be prohibited by the economic sanctions, which seems unlikely to me, because there certainly are sectors of economy you’d go for first, before the committing cruel act of depriving the population of being able to see twinky middle aged men.

Nothing homophobic about this....🙄

Green Day should announce they’re not playing in Moscow. Make a statement of it that they won’t support the Russian economy that finances their military.  Why do I suspect instead that they’ll just quietly take the show off their schedule without a word?

I wouldn’t mind if they quietly took the show off their schedule without a word, because it seems to me they might as well play the show, unless travelling to Russia for work is going to be prohibited. The public forgets quickly and what would cause outrage now might be overlooked in a few months.
