Hella Mega Tour with Weezer, Fall Out Boy

It's actually quite possible that they are creating their own festival. Three big bands, some legit support, and all bands would be able to play for appropriate amounts of time. That would actually be pretty fucking cool.

Is the Interrupters actually confirmed? This has got to be the cherry on top.

They definitely deserve it, although I doubt the performance will top the K-pit performance.... just gonna rub that in.

Four bands playing?? this is a whole festival 😂

Whenever I go to the Vamps (I'm often accompanying a friend who likes them) they have 4 acts (this year they techincally had 5) and it felt like a lifetime getting through them all. I fear this tour tbh

Not confirmed, but Tre tagged them in his "trash night" post, so pretty much a yes.

This seems to be what a lot of bands are doing now. Cage the Elephant did something similar this summer and Slipknot did the Knotfest Roadtour this year. I wouldn't mind it if the other bands were at all interesting to me. I guess now that I'm older I have so little patience to sit through bands I don't care about.

Just playing devils advocate for a second. Tre seems really close to the Interrupters (going to the twins party and whatever). could it be just a coincidence?

but yea, I think this pretty much confirms they are playing. I just can't imagine 4/5 bands playing, 3 for over an hr each.

They'll get great exposure from it I reckon. More than the last tour hopefully.

What position are you at to be so confident? work for one of the event grounds?

I’m less concerned with ticket prices, and more about how difficult it will be to get a ticket. I really want a pit ticket, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen without resorting to a scalper. And I probably shouldn’t even do pit - unless I’m right up front, I won’t be able to see shit.

haha yeah, I always thought that. Venues that never came off were Bolton FC and Swansea FC... I wouldn't be surprised if a Scotland and Ireland date were added, but the 2 UK ones are definite :)

I live near swansea.

Lots of people seem to be doing singleton park as well for some reason.

I always get stuck behind tall people. Want to be near the barrier as well.

Does anyone have an idea of how extensive the tour might be in the EU? Wondering if they'll come to Portugal...

Isn't that the record label? according to the website the management is YMU Group

Ah! I misread it, my bad. Yeah, it's the record label.
