TaylorKlinke
I’m kinda happy about the KISS cover because I’m bringing my mom to her first Green Day concert and KISS is one of her favorite bands lol Also I’m glad KFAD isn’t on the setlist since it takes up so much time when they could play other songs and I've already seen them play It 6 times. 2
Popular Post pacejunkie punk
I like the KISS cover too because it's a new cover for them and a classic stadium anthem so perfect for this kind of show. It's a lot of fun live. 5

Popular Post desertrose
After watching this show, and remembering the show I went to at the Oakland Coliseum in 2017, there was so much more energy then. I did not feel it with this, seemed rushed and not much engaging with the crowd. IMO. I don't feel that I am missing anything not going in Aug when they play in San Francisco. The setlist now, I hope they tweek it and add something from Foam, maybe add from the trilogy too would love to see 2000 Light Years Away, Christie Road anything before Dookie. I did like that they did 21 Guns tonight, I have always loved that song, Billie Joe did it acoustic in Oakland and sounded great then. Anyway, I am just waiting for a Green Day tour in the arenas again. I just don't care for Weezer or Fallout Boy. For all those going, I hope you have a great time.
Popular Post Miko
Any clips of 21 Guns? I'm really interested how almost 50 Billie Joe sings it, considering it wasn't easy song to sing back in 2010 either.
michael1989
Surprised St Jimmy’s still on the set list. It’s a quick one so that’s probably why, but could be replaced with Bang Bang. Or Let Yourself Go, for us trilogy fans.
Digoco
Greatest Hist setlist, but GD has such an awesome collection of songs. Although I think They should have some songs rotation (change the cover, play some Kerplunk, Bang bang, waiting...)
jengd
The set list has got to be a greatest hits one, nothing else makes sense in this scenario, but a Kiss cover when they have so many of their own songs and more hits, why play it, that means they are doing two covers! I understand they play it well and it’s fun but it’s not what I want to hear. So good to see them back having fun though 😍😍
purplebenny
A tight 90ish minutes, no filler, no KFAD could do with some more deep cuts, but that’s as good a set list as we could have wanted from this tour!

GuitarPunk94
its so sad they dont take some "risks" with their setlist, and no foam at all, how can you dodge your latest release so hard i dont know any other band who does this

It’s a tour marketed at casual fans, they want to hear hits not songs off of FOAM. Thats a good setlist considering the circumstances. I’m also going to wait for a solo tour for a longer set but seeing 21 guns with a full band would be cool.

Popular Post Q-Man
No Trilogy or FOAM, not surprised. I was surprised that Bang Bang or Revolution Radio didn't make the cut! Great setlist for a greatest hits tour though, not necessarily overly heavy on AI and Dookie which is what I was concerned about.
Popular Post RedundantIdiot
I'm happy that both WMUWSE and 21 Guns are back in full band performance. I haven't heard the Kiss cover yet, so can't pass judgement on whether it should be on the setlist. I liked the graphics on the big screens & Mike having a camera on his guitar at the start of Longview. Overall, I'm happy with what I've seen from last night and I've got my fingers crossed that my HM show happens next year.

Hermione
KISS sucks lol, what song is it? Be fun to hear a different cover anyway I guess. 3 hours ago, purplebenny said: A tight 90ish minutes, no filler, no KFAD could do with some more deep cuts, but that’s as good a set list as we could have wanted from this tour! How long is Knowledge including finding someone to bring up etc? I'd rather see a cut down KFAD than that, much more entertaining. 1 hour ago, Joe. said: Because there’s no real appetite for it? I agree about playing hits in general but it does seem a bit silly not to play even one song off their latest album, on the first tour they're doing since it came out.

It’s possible they read reviews and fans thoughts and they’re not feeling great about it… I mean they’re already stingy with the deep cuts we love so lol
SigneInsomniax
Was GDs set just around 90 minutes?Do you think their solo shows during the HM tour will be longer?

They've actually pretty much always focused on their hits/stuck to a setlist of popular songs that's the same every night their whole career. I think they should throw one FOAM song in there though, makes it look like they don't have confidence in their work plus I'd like to see it!
Popular Post Billie Joes Eyelids
I know what they're trying to do with the KISS cover but it's such a cheesy dad rock song I don't feel like it works. They could definitely dump that for a deep cut. But I still think that a greatest hits set list is the only way to go with a tour like this.

michael1989
I'm pretty sure Mike said they do the covers for themselves rather than the audience (think it was in the Cuatro doco). They're aware the fans would prefer a deep cut, but I guess they have more fun playing a cover or two each night. Plus at a concert like this the audience is more likely to know the cover than a deep cut.
