Probably 5PM UK time, makes 9AM California time so I assume they'll announce all dates at once.

Any info on US dates? Just hoping they don’t hit my state while I’m away at Disney in May.

It's almost like you know something we don't.... 😉

maybe... its pretty much all out there now anyway lol. Weirdly working in Football ticketing has landed me in a very good place for these GD Shows :)

As I said in the last page I know nothing, just speculating based on others posts here.

Spoiler

PS: Sources have told me that the tour will certainly hit wherever you live during May 🤣

You mentioned The Interrupters as special guests in the other thread. Is this confirmed? Are The Interrupters on this tour too?! Very excited to see them again if so.

*appears from under a rock* Did someone say Interrupters??

yeah now we're talking

As awesome as the interrupters would be, they're such an odd choice when it comes to the likes of Fall out Boy and Weezer

Yeah I don't really believe it... the show would also have to start around noon :P

As i said elsewhere I'm slowly but surely warning to this whole thing but if they were part if it that would make me 100% more willing to do anything beyond waiting for a standard local arena show .

why Weezer and FOB 😭this all points to a co-headlining tour 😭

i wouldnt mind to see Weezer and FOB live (again), but Jezuz, i just shuffled trough FOB's "Mania" ... W T F ... their first 3 (or 4) albums are so good, but thats cancer in my ears 😅

Do you seriously think Green Day would alternate headlining with FoB and Weezer? That Green Day would open for both on some nights?

in the uk and us green Day are culturally far bigger than either and wouldn’t open for either. Just because the band opening is ‘big’ doesn’t mean they’re not supporting. Tickets might be slightly more expensive, but it’ll still be Green Days tour.

You wouldn’t get Royal Blood opening for Foo Fighters for example, even if they were hyped up to help sell tickets

Maybe it would be the lineup varying by location, rather than all 4 at every show... Which brought up a horrible thought of an only Weezer/FOB date in my hometown. 😂

I think people need to relax on the co-headlining thing, can't see past Green Day being outright headliners for this. Concerts/festivals have been heading this way for quite sometime now, especially here in the UK over the summer months.

It allows for the promoters to shift more tickets because of bigger venues, and as they're typically day events or at least events starting several hours earlier than a standard concert, it means bigger food/drink sales, etc.

You can look back to the BST show that Green Day played in Hyde Park a few years back similar setup, okay Rancid maybe not quite as big as FOB but it's a similar sort of thing. All Points East is another festival over here, takes place over several weekends but it's essentially a genre specific day festival. This is pretty much the same except it's touring.

EDIT: Poorly written, but I'm about to head off. Hope it makes sense lol

The Interrupters would improve this.

I doubt they will play,

however, they do seem really close to the band, especially tre,

so definitely a possibility in future. maybe a second tour ontop of this big one? smaller gigs also?

Interrupters in UK only? 😭

They are doing a UK soon, so I'm not sure why they would be back so soon...

Yeah, I might consider it if they're involved and it's not too outrageous. 2 bands I like is better than one band and suffering.

Not sure, I only know what's going on with the UK dates.
From what I've seen, Green Day are on last for 90 mins, though their stage time ends 30 mins before the curfew (I assume this is because they're known to run over and likely to do so).
Fall out boy have an hour, as do Weezer.
The Interrupters are on before Weezer for 30-40 mins and apparently there's another band to be confirmed who will play before them... Its being run by SJM Concerts who also did the foo Fighters shows at the same stadium last year, where it started pretty early :)

Wow it is like their own festival!

Don't sweat it - people who wait all day will be tired and you'll outrun them :P

That's like a mini-festival... it'd actually be pretty cool if the line up was better.

Green Day playing for 90 minutes doesn't bother me one bit. If they cut down on KFAD and other bullshit they'll be playing their standard show but better. :P
