C'mon guys, Network club tour winter 2021/2022!!
Beerjeezus
20 minutes ago, Herroon said: Perhaps- but it did drop right before COVID happened, so I could imagine an obligation like that maybe being able to get skirted due to the unique circumstances, yknow? Maybe, yeah. But it’s like this was a greatest hits tour anyway so it doesn’t really matter whether or not it’s connected to an album release. It would seem kind of stupid to tour an album released a couple of years previously but what do I know. I was at my doctor specialist today and he was explaining that at the moment the vaccinations only protect the people who are vaccinated and not against them spreading it so that could possibly mean a large part of the crowd could still be susceptible to Covid if not everyone gets vaccinated? jengd
I can hardly imagine the tour going ahead if it’s cancelled a second time. My worry is it sees the end of these huge, ambitious tours for a few years. @Rumpelstiltskin2000 I believe we need 70% or so to get vaccinated to be really effective.
scottnz6789
Well they can always come do a Hella Mega your in NZ and broadcast it around the world. No community transmission of covid for about 60 days+ so no limits on crowd size etc
RedundantIdiot
I remember before I got my ticket I said that if I don't see them on the Hella Mega tour in 2020 I'd have to wait until 2022. It looks like it's going to be 2022 now anyway. Not even an attempt to reschedule just an automatic refund. We may see the whole tour go out this way 1
Lindsay
Considering they've already rescheduled once and with how unpredictable things are, I don't think it's surprising in the slightest they've outright cancelled the Asian tour dates. I won't be surprised if they end up cancelling the whole tour. Sad, but not surprised.
AlissaGoesRAWR
@Laura! worked so hard to get us those pit tickets too. Darn. But I’m guessing it’ll go the same way for the whole thing.
The Grohl
Well...fuck. Not surprised, but still sucks. Doesn't bode well for the rest of the dates.
Slave To The Network
I'm not expecting them to be able to even think about doing any shows until 2022. Not surprised at all that those dates have been canceled.
jengd
And so it begins... I think they’ll cancel the whole thing and will they reschedule a twice cancelled tour, not sure I see that happening at all 😭😭😭
Flashback
Lately I listened to an interview with a german event manager. He said that there is such an enormous backlog of postponed tours due to Corona that new tours of famous artists would not be possible before 2024... so I hope that they have at least reserved some optional dates for Hella Mega in 2022

Hermione
The only really annoying thing for me is the stress of getting the tickets being for nothing. IF once concerts are possible again they do just a Green Day tour instead I won't mind, it's a good trade off. But if I have to stress just to get the same Hella Mega tickets again.....that would suck

At least if we get a refund it'll feel like free money since it's been so long since it was spent.

I was determined not to go to any HM show and I suppose I can stick to it if Green Day still play the festival I got a ticket for. I wouldn’t mind a refund at this point though. Free money + not having to worry about Green Day cancelling and I end up with a ticket to see Five Finger Death Punch or something

I don't wanna lose them I don't care if the show is in 2027 I just want to use those ticket.
purplebenny
Irish promoter has said stadium shows will be postponed to 2022 already this shouldn’t be a shock to anyone
Beerjeezus
Waiting until Hella Mega is over so that we can go on and pretend it never happened was annoying enough in 2020... Making it last another two years, then some time off... that would mean we can expect a Green Day tour in about 2025. Great.
Little Boy Named Booze
It's so sad. That was the best tour since Pop Disaster. I know a lot of people don't care about HMT but this one was really something for me.
