Vaccine is on course to be developed by the start of next year, human trials are underway. Its not a guarantee, but it does look likely.

Hopefully that works out. I see no other option than a vaccine, since currently in my country we’re at about 1% of population that has immunity so at this rate, we’ll be immune in 2060.

ya, thats why 2021 seems very unlikely to me

Again it’s not guaranteed but the vaccine is on human trials which would be ready for mass production early 2021

Theyre saying as early as the Fall here in the U.S. for health care workers at the start.

Zero chance the US tour happens this year. I'd imagine they are trying to line up dates for Summer 2021 before announcing anything. As far as the vaccine,if the word is coming from Trump I wouldn't put much stock in that. Or maybe it'll disappear in warm weather. It is you know one person from China and we've got it under control.

Naw it came from Pfizer, the one company working on the vax.  I'd never quote anything from Trump. 🙄

So they should just cancelled all the dates and announce new tour when they'll be sure it could happen :ermm:

They already announce Asian dates.

They'll move the whole tour next year.

The festivals might be tricky

They’ll try to move the whole tour. There’s no guarantee

They might not, it really depends on venues and when they’re available. Take the London Stadium, West Ham have no idea when the stadium will be in use for football and it could feasibly be next June with delays to starting next season. They probably won’t want to commit to gigs when they don’t know about the season

The tour is screwed unfortunately because it is majority sports stadiums they’re playing. Asia was easier to reschedule because it was arena venues, but having to wait on and give priority to all these football and baseball schedules is going to make it hard to reschedule this tour in any timely way. Just assume it isn’t happening for now and wait and see if it does in the future. Until then, Ticketmaster is holding on to a lot of our money.

Saw someone today looking for tickets for an August Hella Mega show and it surprised me that some people think this is still possible. I think we’ll be lucky if small concerts can take place in the fall.

I keep telling myself that it’s because of the fact it’s four bands they are trying to reschedule (and because I want my refund) but I wish they’d give more of an update. Then again, MCR hasn’t announced their fall shows postponed so maybe some are still really holding out hope. I just don’t see any happening.

If anyone wants my ticket for the London Stadium in June I'll sell for face value :P

I have a pair of tickets I need to get rid of. Hoping I can just refund them if the tour gets rescheduled.

Same, believe ticketmaster are now allowing refunds for rescheduled events so is just a waiting game for the new dates.

I'm not to sure, but I think Norway also gets,a new dates.

If so any events that isn't taking place in a stadium could possibly be rescheduled

I didn’t even really think of the fact that the already incredibly fucked baseball season is likely the reason they’re having trouble officially rescheduling. But it makes sense.

My friend is rescheduling her wedding for next year and the venue is linked to a minor league baseball stadium and they can’t select their date yet because it can’t be on the same night as a game and the schedule isn’t available yet — even though it’s usually ready by now. Nobody knows what to expect with sports right now.

It’s definitely going to be a big factor. Can’t speak for baseball, but the football stadiums over here will give priority to football and there’s no idea what the next two seasons will look like so they can’t commit. New venues might be a better idea, for London they could move to twickenham for example

And for the up north date they  could use another rugby ground maybe, or a cricket ground, definitely won't find another venue in Huddersfield though
