I don't think you'll have to worry about Young and Menace. They've played a total of three shows in 2019, and it was left off the setlist each time. In fact, they only played two songs off of MANIA in each of those three shows. When they did play it during the MANIA tour (saw them at Wrigley Field), they stripped it down to a beautiful piano solo from Patrick so it wasn't as atrocious as the full instrumental version. It wouldn't surprise me if they simply never attempted that song live ever again.
Billie Joes Eyelids
So everyone who’s complaining about the HM tour is just assuming that GD isn’t doing their own tour also? Because I don’t think that’s a correct assumption. This is not going to be a long tour I don’t think.

BUT if they happen this is a very very long tour

If it’s stadium they can hit major cities in US, UK, andEurope within a couple of months.
billiesblue
Every time I plan to see weezer I always underestimate their performance but I always end up having a good time. Perhaps I was too harsh to weezer at the beginning of the thought of the tour collab. I actually like the band 🙂 If ticket prices are reasonable I’d consider going. btw has anyone heard the weezer song that got leaked? It’s actually not bad at aaaall

That’s a lot of travel and coordination to do them both

It also has something about a collection of products which probably means merch

If it's a hella mega tour that's also coming to Europe, it doesn't look like just a few dates, but a proper tour. I don't mind that as long as it's not coming close to me. What I'm hoping for is an arena show in my area instead, after this passes me by. 2 minutes ago, greendayslongview said: Yeah it says tour dates. KGLWW
I find the name of the tour to be extremely cringe worthy. I hope it has some deeper meaning, but I don't think it does

I’m thinking the HM tour might take up June-August, but there’s still all of spring and fall for a regular GD tour. And maybe into 2021. 1 minute ago, Taste said: I find the name of the tour to be extremely cringe worthy. I hope it has some deeper meaning, but I don't think it does It’s tongue-in-cheek. But I guess it's fitting because the whole concept of touring with FOB in a desperate attempt to stay relevant is cringy.

I mean I'm fine with them touring with them, I guess, if the music is actually good and sort of fits in with fall out boy's sound at least a little, but the name is still cringey. Doesn't really scream tongue and cheek to me. I thought maybe it was like similar to maga in a mocking way, but I don't think it actually is, and if it is, I find that to be even more cringy. Yeah, I'm still not thrilled about it because it just reduces the number of shows to choose from, but if I can have an arena show instead, it's cool and I don't mind traveling for it. I expect them to only announce the HM dates first so that they sell, so the wait will be slightly nerve-wrecking. If HM is coming to me, I can score a free show from outside with it being open air, but obviously it's not what I'd choose. 2 minutes ago, EmmaCharlatan&Saints said: We get it you dont like FOB. Not that I support Trump I have no doubt that the term Hella Mega is just a fun use of kitschy terms, sort of like some movie titles that are on the surface cringy but obviously semi-sarcastic. That’s obvious to me, so I immediately liked the name of it when I saw it.

Goofygoldfish
I'm going to apologise for even having this thought, but now I've had it I can't shake it. So, I think we all agree the HM tour is intended to boost sales, and ideally get new fans for all 3 bands. What if, the only way of getting pre-sale tickets is to buy a bundle of all 3 bands' albums. That would be super cheeky (yet I confess I'd do it for pre-sale!). Do you think they would? Sorry!
