Cunt
I think promoters are still fighting and holding out right now to see what happens and keep everything on schedule. Yeah maybe it’s a small chance this tour doesn’t get postponed, but a small chance is still a chance. The only thing you can do right now is take it day by day until things get better and they are going to get better. I’m optimistic in thinking things will get better sooner than later.
michael1989
I think the earliest dates at this point would be Australia in November. There's a slight chance that may happen, as Australia's infection rates are on the decline. However, I would still say it's doubtful as I would be surprised if Australia opens their borders before 2021. They won't do that until most countries are in the clear.

I mean, new people will discover Interrupters but if they played stadiums it'd be a lot more
ariarmstrong
Now I'm just hoping that the tour is not cancelled/postponed due to Corona, but I'm sure thay'll postpone it 😬

November is at risk if there’s a second wave of the virus as the weather changes here (even if it’s getting warmer down under), just as next Spring’s dates could be at risk. There's no chance of the European dates happening, August maybe for the US but that seems highly unlikely. I'm surprised the European ones haven't been cancelled already. RedundantIdiot
The Killers UK tour (end of May-mid June) has been postponed to next year- they foresaw the need to postpone, so moved quick to sort out dates for next year (which haven't been announced yet). I'd expect GD to have foreseen the need to move the European gigs to next year, too.

DrBare
I havent really been paying attention on these forums in a while, so not sure what info people have uncovered but I assume that hella mega will get postponed or even cancelled as I have smaller events around the same time all getting cancelled. In a way, (don't get me wrong, its sad either way), but I would prefer it gets cancelled. Hear me out, and i assume someone else may have mentioned this, but hella mega would've have been fun, but it was very expensive and stadium shows have never been my favourite. In an ideal world Hella mega would get cancelled or postponed and between now and the new hella mega dates there will be solo green day shows. This way the gigs will be either same price, but hopefully cheaper. Smaller crouds, hopefully not stadiums I wouldn't have to pay the price and/or fight for space with FOB or W fans. essentially I'm being optimistic that although this won't go ahead, something better will once the lock down is over. it will just happen like a year late... Also, my ticket choice was based off my where I stay for uni, which meant if the gig did go ahead, instead of a 1 hour commute, I'd be looking at 5Hrs+ and driving 5Hrs to stand for 5Hrs just to drive another 5Hrs+ doesn't seem that good of a night. also, we get our money back if its cancelled right?... Not sure if this is relevant, and in my eyes the shows are 100% cancelled, but they have stopped showing up for me under the YT videos. (the UK dates) and the only dates showing are US.

Rumpelstiltskin2000
Here it is, the article about Ticketmaster: https://metalinjection.net/its-just-business/ticketmaster-changes-policy-no-longer-offering-refunds-on-postponed-shows One here from a medical adviser saying shows may not be able to go ahead before fall 2021: https://consequenceofsound.net/2020/04/health-expert-concerts-wont-return-fall-2021/
The Grohl
I don't really believe the whole concerts won't be back til next year. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but I think they'll be back sooner than that. I've been dying to go to a show ever since this started! Popular Post Lindsay
I think fall 2021 seems a bit far out, but truthfully no one has any idea how long this is going to go on for. My opinion is we won't see any big shows until next spring. I really, really do not see large festivals or concerts being able to go ahead until a vaccine is created. It would be irresponsible. It's good to be optimistic but there also needs to be some realism, too. I would love to see the North American portion of this tour go ahead for this year, but there is no way in hell it's happening.

Guest
Healthcare Advisor: Live Concerts May Not Return Till FALL 2021? https://www.1045wjjk.com/2020/04/13/how-soon-til-live-concerts-return-a-health-experts-response-may-surprise-you/ Hello darkness my old friends
Beerjeezus
That is, big concerts. See you on the club tour 1
Stewe
Maybe big concerts. I will attend a Evanescence's show (which it'd be happen today, but it's postponed on September 29th) but it was an arena (my show will be held at Milan's forum where green day played on the last winter tour) so maybe this type of shows will be ok to happen
Beerjeezus
This isn’t my idea but from an article I read - the reason why shows aren’t cancelled yet is that the promoters are waiting for governments to ban them. In that case they can get their money back from bands. Promoters wouldn’t get a refund if they cancelled on their own.

GuitarPunk94
maybe its relevant for some people: in germany our current "anti-corona-tactic" will end on 19.april on wednesday our politicians will talk and decide the strategy for the upcoming weeks/months for shows (GD show in Berlin, GD festival shows at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in june) they will most likely (like 99%) officially forbid/cancel them
Stewe
I've just heard that the Paris show is cancelled (not sure if it's cancelled or postoponed). Macron says no public events until mid july

Most other tours that are getting moved have been announced That’s true. The thing I’ve read was about Czech festivals, including rock for people where Green Day are supposed to play. The guy responsible for this festival said it’s not happening in June and that if the festival is getting postponed, it will be moved to next year and the announcement is planned for May 1. So if we don’t hear from the band until then and the festival is postponed, we can assume the whole tour will be, because they certainly won’t come to Europe to play one show.
