Yes, my region is at number 1 for the number of infected but luckly my family and friends here are okay. And luckly my area isn't one of the red zone. But we have to be careful anyway

I don't know about logistics around the world but I read if you came back to France after have been in the North of Italy you have to stay in quarantine for 15 days.

Yep, I guess they should think about that before start the tour

Oh wow stay safe

I don't get all the scare around Covid 19. Yes it's sad because older people with health problems are at risk.

But if you're young and healthy, even if you get the coronavirus you'll be alright. It will be a 2-3 days on your ass off work that's it. Just like H1N1

Some of it is definitely fear mongering from the media, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken seriously. People should still be careful and do what they can to keep themselves healthy.

It’s because of modern travel and how quickly viruses spread. You need to contain it early because if it spreads around the world and then mutates to a deadlier strain you have a global pandemic on your hands.

New dates will probably be announced tomorrow at noon. Rumors in Quebec said the Hella Mega is supposed to be in Quebec City somewhere between July 9th and July 19th.

As Billie Joe was talking about new songs, do you think there will be more shows during winter? Maybe in January

What makes me laugh is that here most of the supermarket have many empty shelves because most of most of the people are worried about quarantine
I can understand if you're in the red zones. But it also happened in region without any cases
I love thinking about italians running into a supermarket looking for pasta

Yes. Media are overacting a bit but you don't have to stay locked in your house to stay safe.
I also read that being positive doesn't mean you're ill but I don't wanna share stupid and non confirmed stuff

There were too many interviews etc for me to keep up with but I have said all along we should get new music before the OZ tour - won't make too much difference as we won't hear much new stuff this cycle  but it will be nice for your playlist😎

Half Moon Run just cancelled their show in Asia during March.

So did a lot of artists. But the company managing Green Day in Japan has had only one cancellation. They have a lot of shows lined up. A metal festival is happening in SG right before Green Day's performance with thermal scanners in place. And apart from Korea, the other regions where they're gonna perform is all fine with people travelling in and out like normal. I'm just holding out hope as of now.

No GD afterall...hopefully they'll come for that eventually. Would love to attend the FEQ someday. Lineup is usually much better than Osheaga.

Wow, fans are cancelling their plans to attend, the Asia shows.  Many on twitter are being asked by their employers not to travel and are just not going because of the virus. I see that Singapore declared DOSCON level Orange. Japan closing all schools nationwide.  It is bad, I hope any fan going is safe, but maybe worth it to lose your travel ticket and concert ticket money and stay home. Seems to be spreading worse there than here in the US.  I personally would not even think of getting on a plane or go to any concert, even here in the US. No concert is worth it.

Now is seems to spread without even coming into contact with someone infected. The first case here in Northern California. They don't know know how they got infected since the person never traveled to China or knows anyone who is sick.

Would I risk my health to see Green Day? Considering I once skipped an appointment to get results of an xray to see if my bone was broken to go to a show instead, I have to say yes.

I missed an out of town show once due to health. I've only broken my pinky before and never sought medical attention for it so I would totally still go as long my mobility wasn't majorly affected.

I was gonna go with one good friend but there were a few other people I didn't know well and didn't really want to explain the whole situation to a bunch of strangers as it's exhausting.

This week here was canceled/postponed almost everything speaking about events, sport matches, concerts and stuff like that for precaution
I don't want to sound like "booorn to be wilddd" saying that but you can get the virus even if you go to the supermarket near your house. I mean, I'm seeing people travelling during this week. Some of them have a mask and a hands sanitizer
I read 45 people in Italy have healed. Last but not least, this virus depends also on your age and health. People who died here were 77-82 years old

Maybe they should decide something. I don't understand this silence, even if I know it's not their choice
I wish this situation could end soon. 😑

SWMRS is in the same situation but they are already in Europe and due to be in Italy next week and Japan a week or so after that. They haven’t cancelled anything either (would be up to the headliner Cage The Elephant I guess)

First case of Covid 19 in Quebec City. Hope there are no cases in Toronto because I want to see the freaking show.
