Again US only! 🤬🤬🤬

Maybe and hopefully they'll do one for Europe to attend a show in the US during the summer?

Ya'll thought Hella Mega tickets were expensive, I just looked into My Chemical Romance's "reunion" USA tour and nose bleeds are starting at $275 at some venues (before fees).

WHAT 😮 At least we have three huge bands playing at the same show, that’s absolutely ridiculous.

Those prices were from the Excel Center in Minnesota. I'm in the queue for Las Vegas currently, but I already know it's not gonna be happening for me.

Depends on how much you love that band (and I do), but not for my budget after travel expenses to get there.

They are probably using dynamic pricing, if that’s a standard ticket price they are nuts.

Ticketmaster. Newark NJ has sold out and is getting a 2nd date already. Most places have limited availability and they just went on sale noon local time today.

Honestly, nothing is worth this much. At this point, I reluctantly shell out the money for Green Day, because I HATE THEM, but other than that, it's small shows for me.

I know a lot of people here do but I don't really at all. It's something that I would possibly be dragged to and it might be better than other things I was dragged to.

My stance comes from the fact that I didn't find them to sound that great live when they were actively touring. Any band that comes back after so many years are gonna be a little rusty.

I guess there's a decent demand for them though since a lot of people probably missed them during their active touring years and it's been years since their last show.

the only good thing about big shows is proper distance from the equipment. I'm going deaf in my right ear now from playing small club shows and attending small club shows. It's an awful experience.

Yeah but in the US some artists started to use dynamic pricing, the more people connects to buy tickets, the more the ticket price raises. This applies to Ticketmaster, not to the resells. In Europe it’s illegal, at least in most countries, not sure if it’s an EU law regulating this, in the US a lot of pop artists started to do this. I read an article about Beyonce doing this, I think, maybe it was someone else.

Edit: here it is, it was actually Taylor Swift https://www.qualitylogoproducts.com/blog/ticketmaster-dynamic-pricing-ticket-sales/

:( that sucks… good point - I have constant ringing in my ears since the very first show I attended (no regrets hahaha) so since then I'm using earplugs everywhere. It's a necessity especially at small punk gigs where there's practically zero distance from the sound system and it gets loud. Thankfully I don't notice any hearing loss, but that can still come. 😕

they sounded amazing at their december show in LA. There is full video on youtube.

Anyways... just wanted to put this tour's prices into perspective. I know GD usually keeps their prices low on their tours, but for what they listed them at for 3 large bands, looks really cheap now (to me anyways).

Hate to break it to you but that's how it started for me. I was 15 played a few shows and got this buzzing. That turned into ringing and full feeling. If I watch TV laying on my good ear it sounds like a really bad EQ is set to the audio.

I can't see a doc right now cause I'm trying to avoid clinics because of Corona. I'm shitting bricks. A hearing aid is like 1000+ and I doubt there's anything else they can do.

Yeah tinnitus sucks and is really hard to heal, I think there’s no real certain cure for it, but there are some therapies that might help. A friend who is also a musician is trying everything and multiple doctors cause he has a really bad one, and I know some stuff is helping him a bit.

Any idea what he's tried? I tried white noise, brown noise, pink noise etc It helps a bit but once you take it off you're back to square one.

I've learned to ignore the high pitch scream in my ear and the low pitch buzz. I just want that bit of hearing back.

God… I know this can happen :( I'm trying to be careful.

Sorry this is happening to you, tinnitus sucks

It's not as bad as it sounds. Been dealing with it for almost 13 years now.

It also could have gotten worse due to a medication I take for a disease I have.

I can ask him, I know he used both medications and meditation exercises, and was evaluating even surgery, but I am not sure exactly what.

Yeah, other stuff can influence it too. Mine definitely changes depending on how fucked up my neck currently is. So I guess physiotherapy/better posture could improve it but I never systematically worked on it.

I'm anti-medication for the most part. One reason is due to another health issue and that set of complications and the only one I'm on is like required for me to be somewhat of a functional human.

Surgery for me is something I'd consider if it's low risk. A hearing aid more likely might be where I end up.

God everyone keeps yelling at me to see a doctor but I don't hear what they're saying!

It's possible my jaw could be causing the issue. I grind my teeth like a motherfucker.

I'm always in extremely stressful leadership positions at work. I know it's not socially acceptable to strangle idiots so apparently I take it out on my jaw and teeth at night, sometimes so loud people are awake at night hearing it lol
