BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Well, if hella mega expensive shows don't sell well there's hope that next tour won't be as hella mega expensive, so I don't see it as a problem from our perspective 3 Quote

Popular Post purplebenny Posted September 21, 2019 Popular Post Posted September 21, 2019 Seems to have sold very very well in Europe. america, with those ticket prices, it wouldn’t surprise me if it sold badly 5 Quote

As far as you can tell For Paris (the first show), the queue was 40 min long on the webstore presale. I had to pass via the Fall out Boy+Weezer fan link to get to buy a standing ticket lol. I don't understand anything to their queue system. And yesterday, day of the opening of the regular ticket sale, there were posters in the good old subway, which is cool but I think the poor people who tried to buy a ticket after that have been dumped lol Quote

Thelongshot Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 i had to get tickets from a resale site for Huddersfield just 10 mins after they went on sale there were none available. I was disappointed there weren't a few more venues rather than just London or Huddersfield in England. Quote

Janie2009 Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I was lucky enough to get great seats for Huddersfield hours after they had sold out. Why they released them late I don't know but they had quite a lot of them in kb04 £85+fees. Quote

Ross_19 Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I suppose another factor with the US, apart from the huge prices, is that there's like 20 shows... so maybe they're bound to sell slower than in Europe. Although.... one state over there is the size of England haha Quote

That Dude Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 The Atlanta show is the one I'd be going to, but I'm not sure. I've seen Green Day. I've seen Weezer. Fall Out Boy are alright, but seeing them isn't really a priority. While the combination of all three IS very tempting, I'm just not sure if I want to fork over that kind of money for it. If I hadn't already seen two of the bands, oh yes. This would be a dream come true and I'd snatch up a 300-400 dollar seat and rock out. Hmm, Hmm. 1 Quote
Chin for a Day Posted September 22, 2019 Posted September 22, 2019 The amount of promotion this tour is getting is astronomical. Yesterday, I had a 5 hour drive home from Thing 2's soccer game. In that time, I heard it advertised at least every 15 min on multiple different radio stations. Lithium played 3 songs each from Whiskey A Go Go (I was shocked and disappointed at how awful Rivers Cuomo sounded live). Lithium deemed this weekend Hella Mega weekend. I also so at least 5 billboards advertising it. 4 Quote

Since the announcement I didn't heard of anything in the radio or tv. Quote

Have you guys looked at the seating charts on Ticketmaster since the shows have gone on sale? Some of them are doing pretty good. But Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Dallas look bad. I’m not sure about the ones sold on other websites. Quote
