Redundantuserjinxboy
Here's what you guys need to do. Set your expectations very very low. When the new song is released you won't be disappointed if it's not the leaked song. And if it is in fact the leaked song, well, you'll have a happy lil surprise

"GD is just leaking audio snippets to tease us" is an extreme simplification at this point. what you're saying is they recorded shit for green day and leaked it themselves for them? or not, confused

Not going to worry until it's proven by the band that those leaks are not a Green Day song It's the tour rumor that's bothering me more. I don't really believe the leaked music isn't Green Day. Sounds a lot like them and the theory that someone faked it so elaborately seems unlikely to me.

If your first point isn't true, then "leaking audio snippets to tease us" would have to involve panicland. It's too detailed and elaborate to not be involved. So, that begs the question, why would they be involved? The wouldn't, so your first point has to be the case. 1 minute ago, Punkyyy said: what you're saying is they recorded shit for green day and leaked it themselves for them? or not, confused What I'm saying is that panicland is either involved in this promotion strategy (for some reason) or they've created a really elaborate hoax to get us talking about them. Either way, we're talking about them, so successful?

Yeah I’m torn, on one hand the audio from panicland meeting Green Day is without a doubt edited and put into the studio leaks. But in the other hand, when I listen to the clips including the most recent one it straight up sounds like a Green Day song. Almost unmistakably. cav9mm
Hot Take : I think Panicland and Green Day are in cahoots (yes, I said cahoots).!!!!!
dannygreen
I think that as much as It could backfire on them in the end this could be a terrible move for their career. Exploiting Green Day, this way, for me it's totally unlikely. We're talking about them yes but then it could generate a lot of backlashes if people find out is a hoax. I think that maybe BJ liked them brought them to record on that studio maybe or asked them to join for the harmonies or both

Anyone could’ve taken that clip and put it in the video

I think that maybe BJ liked them brought them to record on that studio maybe or asked them to join for the harmonies or both but you don't just bring randoms if you're recording an album and trying to keep the rumors to non existent...unless they were NDA'd or something, but I at this point don't see how they are useful to them in this

Harry
I’m very confused as to why many people here are hating on this small band that have supposedly pranked us all with their fake song and saying pretty terrible things about them, yet in the same sentence, they are all saying how much they love this leaked song and how much it slaps and how much they hope it’s a genuine Green Day track

I think that maybe BJ liked them brought them to record on that studio maybe or asked them to join for the harmonies or both You would think so. Even though we're assuming they're GD and they never really say it, they did have the album art with GD's name on it in their leaked videos. Seems a heavy implication that they would be pretending to be GD. Since they did work with Billie, you would think they wouldn't want to ruin a relationship.
